  1. It is probably another example of "the senior cannot be corrected as he would loose face"

i could not agree more, this happens to often in Thailand, and i have been subject to many arguments regarding this topic

  2. Well.. what a shit company. if theres a line cut, its not the one from you to them.. its the one from them to the rest of the internet..

how do u not fix that in 30mins

simple answer to your question ' TIT '

  3. Such a young man, I wonder what was in the bottles. RIP.

On a side note, when oh when will this "newspaper" get someone who is fluent in english to write these stories, I get a headache trying to dechypher what the actual story is half the time.

Maybe they use the Same Staff as the Nation

On a serious note, RIP... as i am only a year younger then this man :o

  4. TOT has been down in the office since yesterday.... TOT said it will be down for around 3 days as the one of lines was cut....

Thus some people in Phuket get TOT and some dont

  5. The Wall Street Journal...

Democracy in Thailand Is Threatened by Protests

Authoritarian Rule Of Nation's Past Appeals to Many

An injured pro-government supporter was beaten Tuesday by anti-government protesters during clashes outside Government House in Bangkok.

This is what New Yorkers and the rest of America/World will be reading today

5 PAD supports and one deranged Pad sentry - against one injured pro-government supporter....

Thanks for the info, very Sad, and for any posters who mention the PAD are not violent, please view the link

  6. If a public servant earning 10,000 baht per month is living in a 10 million baht home with two Mercedes parked in the driveway, I'd say that is suspicious.

reminds me of the Chewang police cheif with his nice BMW 730 I ...... must of got a good finance package :o

  7. If the people who are now protesting in the streets are really serious in their fight against corruption, why don't they try something similar? But the question will remains, is it really corruption they're after ?

But where they offered half there monthly salary to vote?

That's because a lot of the more corrupt Hong Kong Chinese are now too busy doing their thing all over the world (Thailand included).

First time i have ever agreed on one of Hengs comments ( hope not the last :o )

  8. I'm guessing it has to be at least over 200 million baht in damage so far

    Far more then this !!!!!

My company alone has lost in the region of 50 Million THB

A friend that works at Marriot hotels has reported a 4.5 Million USD loss for september in cancelled bookings

And if you just add in the cancelled flights from Phuket @ 15,000 Passengers x 2500 THB = 37.5 Million THB

So just looking at this ( and only from what i know it is already ) we are already looking at the 200 Million THB mark

But i would also like to know the amount, as it will come into the Billions .......
