  1. So we are agreed that there IS some expectancy of private space in public then... It is just a case of determining where the line is drawn.
  2. Exactly. I'd love to see his reaction if I sat 1 foot away from him on the park bench and stared at him while I sparked up a huge cigar that wafted smoke all over him. I'm sure he'd say "that's fine, there's no private space in public".????
  3. So if you're sat on a park bench I can squat on my haunches in front of you and put my face one inch from yours and that's fine because there is no private space in public? I can sit right next to your wife/daughter who is sunbathing in her bikini on the beach and stare at her inanely for hours because there is no private space in public? You seem to be taking things too literally. You also seem to be unable to differentiate between what is illegal and what is socially unacceptable/inept. I suspect you don't actually disrespect people's personal space as much in real life as you claim to think is perfectly fine on this forum. Why? Because you know it's wrong and that it will eventually result in your physical assault. As it did with the Korean.
  4. That depends on how it's done and where it's done. Walking up to someone in the street and staring at them for 5 minutes while picking your nose is not illegal. Talking to a woman while running your eyes up and down her body, focusing on her cleavage is not illegal. But if you completely lack social etiquette and get a bloody nose then don't start whingeing about it. IMO this filming of others should be illegal and the law needs amending. If people lack the common decency to not livestream others in entertainment areas then legislation should be brought in and they should be forced to show the respect for others that they are clearly lacking. In the meantime, we can all laugh at the Korean for the instant Karma he received ????.
  5. I agree with everything you said. Except you forgot to put "liberals" in inverted commas. They are anything but liberal. They are deeply authoritarian, hiding behind a facade of benevolence. They are a huge threat to liberty.
  6. I don't care if it's illegal. If some "YouTuber" walks up to someone when they're on the beach or any other public place and sticks a camera in their face and tells them they are being livestreamed to all their "followers" they better hope the camera is insured. Why don't you try it? Walk up to a group of Thai males and start filming them and tell them it's being livestreamed to thousands and that it's perfectly legal. Be sure to report back what happened ????. The Korean got what he deserved. Possibly less. People with your attitude of disrespecting people's private space deserve what is coming to them.
  7. OK, Let's say you went for a walk along the beach with your lovely wife afterwards and sat under a tree to watch the sunset. I stood a couple of metres in front of you, got my tripod/camera out and recorded your conversation for 20 minutes. Then posted it on YouTube for my thousands of followers to watch. OK with that?
  8. I got stopped at 4am on Friday morning by a large road block featuring about 10 cops. They were breathalizing people but for some reason they took one look at me and waved me through. This was on Rachada Ramintra Road. I often do that route at that time and it's the first time they've been there. So I reckon they were taking it a bit more seriously.
  9. So if you went to a restaurant with your wife to celebrate her birthday and I sat at the next table openly filming you as you ate and talked, recording your actions and your conversation for the duration of your stay there, then posted it on YouTube afterwards you'd be fine with that because it's a public place?
  10. Good job Anupong. These live streamers are a scourge. Filming in these entertainment areas should be illegal and huge fines issued.
  11. I'm actually impressed that he remembered that he forgot. Maybe he's on some new medication? Or maybe one of his flunkies whispered in his ear...
  12. Bearing in mind the individuals involved, I can see some double crossing. Here are 2 possibilities. 1. They promise to pardon him then leave him locked up for years on technicalities. 2. They pardon him and then he reneges on his promise to back the Army when released. Many other possibilities for a stitch up on either side. Oh what a tangled web we weave...
  13. Interesting to see Democrat Spacey cleared on all charges. Despite practically admitting it in his own statement after being charged. Gates and Clinton also never charged for their trips on Lolita express with Epstein to his island. Obviously nothing in it though.
  14. Great news. I mean who cares if you can't pay your mortgage and lose your house due to high interest rates when news like this is released?
  15. Reminds me of teenage girls trying to annoy their parents.
  16. Farage is doing a great job. The banks clients political views are none of their business. Alison Rose's virtue signalling has backfired bigtime. Her career is in tatters, the liar. And people wonder why others don't want to go to a cashless society. So they take away cash first and then arbitrarily close your account if you don't adhere to the "correct" political viewpoint. Essentially unpersoning you for wrongthink. I hope Farage sues the lot of them.
  17. Germany, the powerhouse and largest economy in the EU being the slowest. ???? You should really do some research before posting this type of drivel. https://www.ft.com/content/af5820bf-0af6-4228-8223-4cb79cc5a6d6
  18. celebreties? pitt bulls? You are clearly a very educated individual, bro ????
  19. Crystal Ball stuff. The IMF consistently underestimates UK growth. They're a laughing stock where it comes to UK predictions. 3 whole % out in 2021. I posted the real figures above. So tell me, where is the cliff edge that Project Fear hyped up? Didn't happen, did it... https://www.cityam.com/why-have-the-bank-of-england-and-the-imf-been-so-wrong-on-the-uk-economy-a/ https://theboar.org/2023/02/uk-growth/
  20. Well, as the Mayor of Bangkok said a few years ago. "It's not flooded, it's just water waiting to be drained". ????
  21. They're staying quiet and hoping it all gets buried until after the next election. You know, the same as the laptop.
  22. Here are some actual results for you from your beloved left wing Guardian. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/may/25/germany-economy-falls-into-recession-high-prices-take-toll https://www.theguardian.com/business/2023/mar/31/uk-avoids-recession-as-economy-stronger-than-first-thought-at-end-of-2022
  23. Ninja 250R might be a good choice. I still have my 2008 model and it's been rock solid. Bullet proof, upright seating position (for a faired bike), 17 litre tank. I dis a fair bit of touring on it back in the day. BKK to Samui, BKK to Nan etc. Great bikes IMO.
