A truly horrible comment. The #bekind mask appears to have slipped yet again. No they don't. Labour removed the fuel allowance. The cutoff threshold is only 12,000 pounds per year. People getting 13,000 are still poor by any definition. Old, vulnerable people are left with the choice of eating or turning on the heating. I'm glad you find that amusing though.

Democrats Struggle to Regain Latino Support as Trump’s Influence Grows
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
The reason you are surprised is because you haven't got a clue. About anything. With Dem political strategists just parrotting that tired old schtick I am not surprised you got smashed at the election. You deserved it. Now, jog on. -

Pai's Tourism Woes: Over 1,600 Foreigners Arrested in a Year

So 0.8%. Hardly a significant proportion. I wonder how many were Brits and Aussies. 😄 -

Yes you would. And it would take you 20-30 times as long to "fill up". Assuming you could find a charging station of course. 😄 -
At least that means fewer of them on the road. Less lithium/cobalt mines destroying the planet. The people dumb enough to buy them will only have to wait 2 hours for their turn at the charging station. Unless it's a public holiday of course, then all bets are off. Saw a Thai lady on Twitter saying you have to book a time slot at the charging station now using the app. And you can only get a 30 minute slot. Think she said you have to put a deposit down as well 😄.

Certainly too much for you to handle. She'd eat you for breakfast. -
Starmer Backs Trump’s Call for Europe to Increase Defence Spending
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
It's Labour trying to worm out of holding local elections, already postponing many. As always, the left are exactly what they accuse others of being. But I would agree it does appear Starmer is the latest lefty to start falling in line. -

Gorgeous. With Melania Trump and Karoline Leavitt we've certainly had an upgrade on the eye candy since DEI Harris and her merry band of Wokies e.g. DEI Karine Pierre ensured the Dems lost power. Baron Trump seems like a good young man as well. A huge upgrade over Hunter and his legacy of drug fuelled debauchery. Great to see the good people back in power.- 66 replies

Concerns Mount Over Kanye West After Controversial Sid and Nancy Post

This numpty will do anything to get attention. When that fails, he orders his girlfriend to get naked on the red carpet. Quite sad really. -
Elon Musk Demands Federal Workers Justify Their Jobs or Face Dismissal

Yes I worked with an Australian who took that approach when the owner of the company came to Thailand and started asking him about certain things that were not to his liking. He was sacked the next day (by his manager). -

Fair enough. If you are incapable or unwilling to justify your position and the work you do then you don't deserve to be paid with the taxes of people who can.- 183 replies

Apple Pulls Advanced Security Tool in UK Amid Government Dispute
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Not in the deeply authoritarian UK. The state must have access to everything. Privacy is a thing of the past. Big Brother is watching, and they want you to know it. -
BBC Faces Fresh Backlash Over Alleged Gaza Documentary Cover-Up
JonnyF replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Another day another BBC cover up. If they weren't the state propaganda wing of the extreme left wing government, serious questions would be asked. Time to defund. If they are that good, they will survive on their own two feet instead of extorting the British public for their continued gravy train.
