I thought he was a pretty good performer and quite charismatic. But then, so are some of the Philipino bands on Sukhumvit. His music was bang average IMO. Never understood all the fuss. Sounds like he was a real prima donna.

The Dems/Libs did so much damage that it was always going to be disruptive to untangle their mess but it had to be done. Trump is doing a great job. Of course nobody gets everything right but he's getting 9/10 right. I only wish Britain had someone like him to sort out our mess.

The place is full of idiots. Last time I went to Pattaya I went into a bar and one extremely drunk customer (Dutch I think) told me I had to take my shoes/socks off before I came in. I laughed it off initially, ordered a beer and sat down but he approached me 2-3 more times demanding I remove my shoes. Given my extremely impolite final response, that could easily have turned into an "unfortunate incident" had one of the staff not intervened and told him to sit down and stop being such a tool. I actually find 95% of the Thais there to be OK and about 70% of the foreigners to be weirdos. No wonder they look down on us.
