I renewed mine last year in Saraburi, it had expired by more than one year. Because it was so out of date i had to do the theory test. 30 multi choice questions in one hour. They changed the language to English but still it was guess work understanding some of the questions. You need 23/30 to pass. I scored 26 in 20 minutes. The Thais with all their little practice books were really stressing out and took a real long time. As for paperwork, i needed the doctors certificate, work permit and passport as well as the expired license, (photocopies of each were needed too). The whole process, including test, took less than 1 hour.

I use thebox.bz too. Great for downloading F1 and watching it later. Keeping a positive ratio can be a problem though, especially if your upload speed is slow.

You are saying that this Tattoo is football size. I am assuming you mean a standard size 5 football and that has a 22cm diameter. I don't know how fat your girlfriend/maid is but my wife is above average, size wise, for a Thai girl and her back is about 35cm wide at the shoulders. So a football size one would cover way more than a shoulder and upper arm.

Mark, step into the 21st century! Today, a tatoo is considered an artistic addition to the body. I don't think the general public associates a tatoo with a "working" lady of the evening. I also think you're not being fair to your gf if you make her cover up her tatoos every time you go out. Stop being so self centered and start enjoying her tatoos.

Almost every major shopping mall, (if not all), has a tattooist. All you need to do is spend one hour on a weekend looking at the sort of person that goes in to see what the "ENTIRE country" thinks. I have spent many hours in various tattoo studios and a majority of the customers are university girls. I have yet to see a girl that I would consider to look like a bar girl in a tattoo studio. Maybe it's because I don't get tattooed near Nana or Patpong or maybe it that bargirls have to get a degree before they can get a job.

If you don't like tattoos, don't get involved with a girl that already has some. If you don't like a girl that thinks for herself, don't expect a balanced relationship unless, of course, you also cannot think for yourself.

Sorry for the quality but it was taken using my phone camera in a moving car.

I drove past there this afternoon. I noticed that one of the huge gas tanks had black burn marks up the side and guessed it was a fire. IF it was the red shirts, it just shows how stupid they are as one of their big base camps is about 1.2km from the gas tank. A big enough explosion would possibly drop big lumps of metal on top of them.
