I love dogs, but good clean obedient dogs, not flee bitten vermin on the soi's where people want to walk or ride. A SIMPLE method : Rid the Soi's of all un-owned dogs. Folks can have dogs but they must be fenced in at all times or on a leash when outside. Start with 1000 baht fine for owners when their dog is on the street. Barking dogs in built up areas .... the owners issued with a warning notice 1st time, second time 1000 baht fine.

I just don't answer any international numbers .... as for local numbers, I usually don't answer these also, except when it's Foodpanda or Shopee delivery.

Absolutely agree Stoner, they are pests, vermin, and downright dangerous for kids and old people. where is Thai mentality ? don't they see it as a problem ? they just wait for the next dog attack victim at the hospital ? are they really so uneducated that they cannot see the dogs are a big problem in Soi's and Villages.

agree ..... but that's only part of the reason it's a big failure ... I blame the parents as #1 responsibility to instill in their kids that education and high grades are paramount or the family will look down at you as a useless nobody. If kids have proper responsible parents the kids grow up to be responsible, if the kids have pot head drunk parents every night then the kids will grow up sleeping on the streets. I also blame the top dog of the education system .... he has obviously failed in teaching his managers, principles, supervisors, hired teachers, staff and anyone else ..to explain and instill in the kids that a good education is an absolute must and the reasons why. And third, I blame the government for not doing the same through TV and mentor principles. It's a big mess, and as long as the kids sleep on their desks while in class it'll always remain a mess ....

At least they aren't suggesting drug injection centers where the addict goes to get his next high. They tried these shops in Australia and what a miserable failure it's been. Can you imagine owning a house nearby ... Everyone knows right from wrong when they are young .... most were taught that drugs are a big NO ... and most took that advice and moved forward. However, some chose the wrong path and ended up addicts. No sympathy for addicts, they chose their path. I think these rehabilitation centers could be a good choice, put them all in there and keep them off their fix forever .... it's just unfortunate that the responsible common sense of society always have to pay through their taxes for those who chose the wrong path.
