You must have been on the same day as me when they said they had 'run out' of certificates, like you I am still waiting, who/how did you contact to get it sent to you?
I don't have a name, email is [email protected]

So, how many new high-end tourists will this bring? 10? 100? No more I think.

Aren't half of them owned by police anyway?

I tried to change mine and was told I couldn't as the government had already allocated my second dose to the first hospital. As it happened, through another of the schemes, I got a new appointment more locally, so I took that and cancelled the first one.
-
My wife had her second dose yesterday. Sinovac + AZ. When registration opened, she went to the school beside Wat Chai and registered, the actual appointments were at Pattaya City Hospital and came by text.
For a change I, as a foreigner, was vaccinated before her, a Thai. ????

Should it happen, yes. Will it happen, no. All a full review would do is to add complexity; new rules on top of old.

This is the Tourist Authority speaking. They can say what they want, but it won't affect policy, that's set higher up.

My last vaccine was a week ago at Samitjev in Sri Racha. After several asks, I got the certificate with the ID number by email today. Entering it in Mor Phrom was simple once I gave up on translating and entered what I thought was needed.
I find that opening it and bringing up the Digital Health Pass works about one time in 3. So, I hope that I'm never in a queue and holding up people when I need it.

No point in checkpoints unless the police do their jobs correctly.

Yes but you don't need it, or your passport info for the app.
Just your vaccination code from the paper given to you.
All the your data is on record and the app links to that.
Actually I am very impressed with it.
I will be nice and add the procedure for you.. thank u.
Sorry about the order..start at Part #1 and good luck.
Thanks, finally got my ID number, your instructions helped a lot.

Thailand is a never-ending source of entertainment.

Can't open the article.
"air separation" What is the product here?

Fake news. HiSo people don't get Covid. Well known fact. ????

If digital passports allow businesses to open, then the economy (read; Thai people) will benefit, of course they will, they will have money coming in again.
I have a lot of sympathy for those who medically can't take vaccines, or have been trying to get them but can't, who may not be able to use these businesses/travel. No sympathy at all for anti-vaxxers who help to prolong the pandemic, if they can't travel or mix with vaccinated people, that's nobody's fault but their own.

I'm fat but vaccinated. My biggest worry right now is the coming "bad air season". Anyone with any breathing issues is at risk then. Covid just multiplies the risk.

to be specific: Thais older than 75 years.
But of course, you are free to continue to be scared if you want.
Oh well, if it's only those 75+ who die, that's all right then is it? Someone would have to be a sorry excuse for a human being to even consider that acceptable.

I've owned many dogs.
I'm very anti killing a healthy dog.
It's true that there are no bad dogs, only bad owners. This dog needed training and its owner failed it.
But.
When a dog does this repeatedly without it's master intervening, it has learned that this behaviour is acceptable to the only person who matters to it; its master.
This dog is beyond saving, it WILL do this again. Even if given professional training now, it can never be trusted near people again; it has to die.
Before anyone says that I don't know what I'm talking about, I had a German Shepherd bitch who was a lovely friendly dog until she had pups, then she turned. She went for anything not family; people, dogs, cats, farm animals, birds, anything. I kept her under strict control until the pups were weaned and homed, then had her put down. I don't mind admitting that I cried, and I'm tearing up reading this and remembering, but it had to be done. This one needs to go too.

People keep saying that it was an insurance job. Would any insurance cover what is, in effect, an illegal building? I would have thought that was an easy "out" for them.
-
My take is that they'd have to be sure that it works to approve it, but they can't trust the program record keeping, or the figures released, from here.

I am pretty sure at some point you will have to show your vaccine-card, when doing 90 day reporting.
And also for transport, bars, restaurants, shops.......
OP, please keep your unvaccinated a$$ in the land of the "free". You are not wanted here, where people are crying out for the vaccine and dying because they can't get it.

Chonburi, 4 years back, came in on a 60-day tourist visa and bought a bike. Didn't try to get it registered until I moved from a hotel to a condo and had an address that would last for a while, just ran on the dealers red plate until then.
Dealers are used to this sort of thing.
If you're buying second hand though, please ignore this, I have no idea about that.

I'm British and I'm one of the first to complain when foreigners demonstrate against the British government. it would be hypocritical to do the same thing here.
I will moan at times, but not join a protest on the streets. Not my country.

There are some decent Indian people. I don't think they come to Thailand though.

"the sidewalk collapsed under the weight of the excess flood water" Or, just maybe, they didn't put in any foundations but built it on sand which washed away.

Tell the potential British tourists that they can come, but the bars and clubs will be closed. They'll be queueing at the travel agents, for Spain.
Some though, especially those who've been here before, won't believe how closed it is and will come anyway. Those should be fun to watch. ????
