whats this all about care to say?
Nothing cryptic. Someone posted how to get the "Thai Save Thai" app without a Google Play account linked to Thailand. His way worked, so I was thanking him.

Well, global production has ramped up a lot and continues to increase. They should be able to get this 200m.

Well, got my second dose, fine so far, but after the first it was about 8 hours before the side effects started. I'll update this tomorrow.
One thing I'm not happy with is the certificate, or the lack of one actually.
"We call you next week"
Apparently, I'll have the choice of going back for it (66Km round trip) or getting it by email. Whether there's any advantage in having an original copy or not, I don't know yet. AFAIK, it's the "Thai Save Thai" app that venues will be looking for, not a paper certificate. This week anyway, who knows what they'll come up with by next week or next month. I now have 4 Covid apps on my phone. ????
Opinions anyone?
This was at Samitjev Hospital in Sri Racha.

Everything that China and Chinese companies do in the world is to advance the cause of China dominating the world. Everything.

I read SF & Fantasy, at least a book a week. Do those qualify as novels? On Kindle, I do love the feel of a real book, but Kindles are just so convenient.

correct, i dont know anyone who hasn't made additional financial arrangements for their post work life, it's a no brainer.
In the UK, there is an attitude among some social groups of not saving or paying into pensions for retirement. The issue is that access to State benefits is restricted if you have savings or income, so they enjoy their money now, knowing that the State will keep them later. You and I see this as wrong, they don't.
Some able-bodied people retiring now have never worked. I have an opinion on that one too. ????

It's a lot of years since I went hiking, but one thing I remember is that, if you get lost, go downhill until you find water, then follow that, there will be people eventually. Of course, that wasn't in a jungle.

Thai soaps and banal game shows drive me up the wall, we have a TV in the bedroom which the mrs uses to watch that rubbish on, we have an Android TV in the lounge which I use for watching TV series, movies & listening to BBC Radio 2 on when I have stuff on catch up. ????
I'm a condo dweller, we have to pay for cable Thai TV. I don't, she watches on phone - I did buy her a tablet, but it got traded in for a phone. ????

Thanks folks, got the answer I needed; 2nd dose is likely to be give at least as bad side effects as the 1st.
I'll make sure that I have someone at home that day to mop my brow and make tea.

So arrange company in advance.
What am I missing here?
The "company" has things to do too. She'll put them aside if I ask, I prefer not to ask unless there's need. Hence this thread.

When corrupt police are finally stamped out here, immigration will be the first to targeted. Be careful if you get a visa by illegal means.
I've been telling people that for years. It's an easy catch too, there's a paperwork trail and CCTV in the Immigration offices.
OK, some people cannot meet the requirements, but have enough money to live on.
However, some I know do have the funds, and live close to the office (Pattaya for Jomtien, 10 minutes) but use agents for convenience. Stupid IMO, they're retired, they have all the time they need, but don't want to "spend" it.

This probably a good thing for those of us who visit hospitals briefly. For those who are admitted, and the staff, I'd want more info on the risk to eyesight.

My last one I was 8 days late (forgot). When he asked why, I said "Covid", he couldn't get me out the door fast enough. ????

How soon after the first dose did these symptoms first present?
How long did they last?
Maybe ask when you go in for your second dose? Surely those medical professionals have the experience and knowledge to help you.
Or just trust loons on the interwebs, like me.
They started about 8 hours after, lasted through 2 nights, the first bad, by the second it was mostly over.
I get my second dose next week.
Asking there won't help me to arrange company in advance.

I use Jomtien, they've never checked that I've kept the ฿400,000 during the year, only the ฿800,000 2 months before and 3 after.

Question for those who have had 2 doses.
On my first dose, I had quite bad side effects for a day or so - exhausted, shivers, hot, cold, headache, muscle pain, feeling sick, the whole package really - can I expect the same from my second dose next week?
I'm still going to get it - the side effects don't kill but Covid might - but I want to be sure that I have company that day if I'm going to be bad again.
Thanks

If they don't have enough of any Western-developed vaccine for 2 doses, Sinovac + AZ seems to be a good option for now if their figures can be trusted (aye, there's the rub).
When the time for boosters comes, they should have enough Western vaccines that they don't need to use Sino-anything. It'll be "interesting" to see if they're still buying it then.

Making this will bring money into the country. That's a good thing, even if the series is no good.

Don't worry, the Chinese will be back soon.

No - if you're vaccinated you will not have any antigens from the virus, you will have antibodies produced in response to the vaccine.
As stated in an earlier post these are antigen tests not antibody tests.
Thanks.

OK, 24 hours after my second doze and no side effects at all. Zero. Nada.
Looks like I worried over nothing.
