Just carry a saw and cut down the odd tree, that seems to be acceptable behaviour.

Yes but if you had gotten your second dose locally based on deception you would not be given proof of being fully vaccinated.
There is that.

Many in the same situation... 2020 my mother died of old age in UK...
I made the choice not to try to return for the cremation... it's a personal choice,
they made theirs and have to live with the consequences.
Exactly the same for me; 2000, Mother.... If I had gone back, I might still be there, I said my goodbyes from here during the funeral. These are hard decisions you have to make. You and I got it right, this guy didn't.

I'm normally against this for environmental reasons but, burn it.

I got the BPH text too, but I got my first Pfizer elsewhere on Tuesday, so I cancelled. Good that they came through though.

That’s a very funny post - do expats have such a reduced life expectancy here ? 10% of all expats, really - so of the expats we all know , 1 in 10 should have died in the last 2 years
Reduced life expectancy sure, but we pack more fun into it.

I don't know about you, but I get a lot closer to staff in bars than in a 7/11.

You're a farmer, some years you get a good crop with no issues, some years it's a bad crop or issues. That hasn't changed since the first woman stuck a seed in the ground to see what would happen.
Live with it. You didn't give extra money to the state on a good crop, don't ask for money on a bad.

Those extension cord surge protectors, do they work without an earth? I ask because my condo doesn't have an earth to the sockets, there is one to the fuse board, but not past it.

Just wear sunglasses during the day. Don't kill anyone because you couldn't see them at night. Tint the rear and read side if you want, but please leave the drivers windows clear.
Not a car owner, don't want to be a car victim either.

Bought bone-in chicken thighs in a supermarket Wednesday. Up to ฿75 a Kilo, normally about 65-70. I may starve. ????
On the other hand, bars being closed is saving me a bl°°dy fortune.
On the third hand, it's the wife's birthday soon and I'm getting hints about coloured metal. ????
Swings and roundabouts.

If there was no songkran allowed and good efficacy vaccines were purchased and inoculations started at the start of the year then we would have a thriving country. But another 12.5 million sinovac just bought when Astra Xenica is more efficacious and much cheaper.
The difference is that they can get Sinopharm now. They have to wait for AstraZeneca. A less effective vaccine sooner may be better than a more effective one later.
China wants Thailand in its debt. The West mainly says "where?".

Crikey Keith!! Don’t think too much!
I have purchased at least 70 cars in my lifetime - but never checked the VIN on any new car purchase. As BTB1977 has said , there is normally another decal on the car with build and or compliance dates.
I did use the VIN to determine the veracity of ‘classic’ mustangs that I bought to ensure that they conformed with their original factory specifications, ie engine type, paint colour, differential type, manual/auto gearbox etc.
With a new car purchase what you have is obviously original, so should not need verification.
70 cars! You must crash a lot if you need to replace cars that often. ????

So, 7 in a van, with the air set on recirculate (because cooling fresh air costs money apparently). Sounds safe. ????

This so called constant remodel required after every shower of rain seems to be labelled incorrectly - I think a more appropriate description would be constant expensive maintainence and the budget that goes with it, I would love see the total budget spent on this going back 20 years and to whom it was paid.
I remember once reading about the techical aspects of beach errosion and it is extemely complicated, the main point being that it was human interference that mostly caused beaches to disappear, things like buildings and man made structures, parts of a natural bay being removed etc etc.
That beach front was there for probably hundreds of years without needing intervention - so what changed to cause the natural eco of pattaya beach to become such a problem - prbably not that hard to figure out - we could start with the roads along the coast line and other sea front structures going right the way round to Bali H altering the natural flow of the tide and currents and even the wind.
IMO - One thing is for sure, there is no way to fix it unless the coastline is restored back to how nature intended and evolved it over many decades - impossible
At some point Pattaya "beach" resort is going to need a name change
The main issue as I understand it was that the sand on all sandy beaches migrates as you say, but it also needs a "reservoir" of sand off shore. They allowed that to be dredged for building sand, so the beach sand went to replace it. They had experts who told them this would happen, but money overrode that advice.

I got a phone call from Samithivej Hospital Siracha yesterday to ask if I wanted a Pfizer jab - YES PLEASE!
Arrived there 9.20am today, out at 10.15am with the follow up shot in three weeks.
I asked them which site they got my info from and it is the THAILANDINTERVAC site which I registered for Astro Zenica vaccine, months ago.
So if you registered on the THAILANDINTERVAC site and haven't heard anything, expect a phone call sometime soon. (Over 60 or existing conditions only).
They say they have a very BIG list they are diligently working on so it might take a while. ????
PS Very nice private Hospital and the staff were great.
I got the call Sunday Evening, was there at 08:30 today, 09:30 was back on my bike going home. Pfizer.

I think it's still needed, but my torrent client seems to do it all by itself.

It only takes 1 train to kill somebody.
Yes, but on that line, you'd have to really try to find that one train. I cross it at least a couple of times a week, I've seen ONE train, ONCE. Clapham Junction it isn't.
-
If they don't continue the restrictions they are, in effect, saying they were wrong to set them in the first place. So, they have to continue them as they would lose face if they admit they were wrong. Whether they help or not. (IMO, they do)

What is there, 3 trains a day on this line, 4?

Likely gone, certainly won't be as before.
My worry is Walking Street owners opening elsewhere and bringing Walking Street practices and prices with them, killing the places I enjoy now - when they're open anyway.
