In another note if you are a U.S. citizen and have over $10,000 in a Thai bank you need to report it to the IRS or be fined because of FATCA. Supposedly works with the U.as. Government. If not notifying the IRS you can get a huge fine.
I give mine the 23K gold that is in Bangkok at Chinatown. If she needs something and the price of gold is up she’ll sell it. Til then she just holds onto it.
Probably nothing. And many things that you do in thailand you can walk away from if you have baht on you. In thailand money talks. It’s possible for many things you do. You can get justice right on the street
You must not know Thailand very well. If you look at a map you will see there is no border of any kind at Udon Thani.
The nearest border is at NongKhai about 35-40 miles away. Have not heard of the border being closed.
