  1. just a quick post...........ive noticed there are a lot less members/posters here on T.V over the last 6 months to a year.anyone else noticed this...its the same few that do most of the posts! doesnt this show a lot less interest in pattaya/thailand in general unless fed up with the mods hahah....only joking mods!!

    A bit off topic but.

I think the problem is more to do with people socializing out

side of the forum, this has tempered peoples opinions.

Thai visa a victim of its own success. :o

  2. Yes your right, you will always get a beer in some bar no matter what the day.

even some Thais have no respect when its comes down to money.!!!!!!!!!! :o

But I did forget this is the Bar owners, Estate Agents wingers Section of Thai visa.

So I will always be wrong when I make a statement, that could affect you income boys.

and girls. Some times I think people forget they are in a different country than there home land.

    Have a dry day. :D

  3. The beggars and others are not as they appear but instead a ruthless organized gang controlling the takes from the streets with al the uniformed ones in the game.

    Sad but true.

And how do you know this?

Some people seem to think that everyone in the entire city is a member of some kind of "mafia".

    The "Baht Bus Mafia"

    The "Moto-taxi Mafia"

    The "Metered Taxi Mafia"

    The "Police Mafia"

The "Flower Sellers and Picture Takers Mafia" (with their sub-branch, the "Children's Gum and Lighter Selling Mafia")

    The "Check-Out Cashiers Collective Mafia"

The "Double Pricing for Farang Tourists Mafia"

    The "Indian Tailor Mafia"

The "Time Share Touts That Ram Expats With Motos to Try and Sell Them Time Shares Mafia"

And of course, perhaps the best known of them all, the "Sweet, Innocent, Farm Girls from Isaan That Take Advantage of Dumb-Assed Farangs Mafia".

These are but a few of the "Mafias" that various people whine about all the time. There are more, because as I mentioned, some seem to think everyone in the city is out to get them one way or another. I'm sure there must be a "Beauty Salon Mafia", a "Street Vendor Mafia", "Gold Shop Mafia", "Beggars Mafia", and probably even a "Poor People That Collect Recyclables From Trash Cans Mafia".

The real Mafia (Costa Nostra) must be embarrassed as all hel_l every time they hear about another "Pattaya Mafia". :o

You forgot the number one mafia

Its the, We think we know it all about Pattaya on Thaivisa Mafia. loads of them :D

BTW the word Mafia is used in Thailand for all sorts of people.

not like the uderstanding of the word mafia to a westerner. same same but diferent :D

    Have a nice day. :D

  4. Neither Thai people nor farrangs need a passport to fly domestically. Thats will nealry always use their ID card, a farrang can use a photocopy of passport or some other ID such as driving license or work permit.

Looks boys and girls, what fool puts a large distance between him and his passport.

    In a foreign country.

Take it with you, just think of the agro if your involved in say an accident

    What you lot thinking!!!!!!!!!!! :o:D:D

  5. Well PlasticPig I guess we can count you in on one of those who won't be getting tested as well as not seeming to much care one way or the other.

As for informing people about the test, as the follow up stated for those curious types there's this thing on the InternetS, it's called G O O G L E. Any sexually active adult should already be fully informed about all this sort of stuff in this day and age anyway.

Hairy, yes, that is all they are using. You are in Thailand - be happy with it! As for other types of tests (Blot, OraSure, PCR-DNA), yes a few and people can Google that as well - I will tell you that we should all be quite thankful for an ELISA test for B660 delivered in 45 minutes. But some people are never happy.

PM can also test for HPV, HSV2, HEPC as well as the obvious STI's.

Pattaya Inter can do active TB test

*FYI - CDC reported that Clap is now resistant (80%) to Cipro (2005). There is basically one antibiotic left that has real efficacy.

For what it's worth I have seen a real lack of care/hygiene in many of my prospective partners these last few years. I have dismissed women from their obligations on many occassions.

There was a time when I thought Thailand for what it offered was a fair risk when precaution is considered given its high level of healh care and cheap meds. I no longer beleive this to be true. There are many people Thai and Farang alike who simply do not care about health, hygiene and ethics of passing on STI's. Personally, from what I am seeing; I think we are at a tipping point.

ALL STI infection increases the possibility of HIV infection. Even something as innocous (sp) as Chlamydia.

    That's better.

Now we all know what your about.

    All street cred lost. :D

    Have a nice day. :o:D:D
