What is an email pls, can you speak Thai, me no underesetand.
The so called "Australian Border Force" staffed by Australian public service officers level 3 to what ever, are basically a group of people with severe personality disorders! A quick look will see thieves and and petty criminals pepper their ranks. If you read the Australian Federal Ombudsman reports on the ABF you will see the total arrogance and inability to accept errors of judgement when dealing with the public! They are never held to account!

You sure about that Mr P? Long time ago I met a guy (friend of the then BIL) who I was told had been with the Thai army in Vietnam.
Will see if anyone remembers.
Certainly, I became friends with members of the Queens "Cobra Division" in Saigon in 1967-69, I think they were protecting a construction battalion in Central SVN?

Note that “ he flew to Indonesia “ he then paid people smugglers to take him from a safe country to attempt an illegal entry to Australia.
Apart from the very vocal minority many in Australia feel that if you want to come here you should apply in the correct manner. Pictures of predominantly fit young Males, with no papers and often an attitude do not raise much sympathy from the majority.
As to the award who has ever heard of it ?
The previous poster has summed up the attitude to a group of migrants In Melbourne that have totally destroyed the image of refugees happy to be in Australia, they have simply brought their unacceptable ways with them and to criticise is RACISM!!!
Hear him! ✔️

I don't think so, it looks like a long laid out plan. If I was a democrat I'd be worried about the thousands of sealed indictments that are waiting to be opened??

There ought to be a properly policed ban on the traditional burning off practice, with payment witheld for those who insist on burning or who have "unfortunate" fires break out on their land.
Coming from a "sugar cane" background I understand why the fields are burnt. They burn to remove the trash (weeds, thorns, snakes etc) from the fields before they cut, it makes it possible to cut the cane by hand, necessary with smallish plots and less useless vegetation on the trucks going to the mill! I agree, "green" cutting is excellent for returning nutriments to the ground but if it took years in countries like Australia imagine how long it will take here?? ????

The rice farmers may have a case I'm not a rice farmer, what I do know, farmers can't handle change and to prove that how many young people are working paddy fields , my experience with my family, the young in the village go to agriculture schools learn new ways, go back to farm, Grandad, Father and uncles kindly ignore their suggestions, after a year of trying , the youngsters head to the city, you only have to see the thousand year old tradition of burning off, to understand lack of progress.
While traditional farmers, like most communities in Thailand, hate and to the best of their ability, ignore change, the government should not push the farmers into having to deal with multinational producers of GM seeds! Obviously there is more to this story that meets the eye, the Ministry may have an ulterior motive (perish the thought!) and forcing farmers to accept non native seed stock could be their ruination?

That's a pretty poor analogy, considering that Roosevelt had a pretty clear eyed understanding of who Stalin was, but also recognized that at that time, Hitler and the Nazis were bent on world domination, and thus represented the greater threat that had to be defeated.
And of course, as soon as the Nazis were defeated and WWII was over, the U.S. pretty much ended up in a decades long Cold War with the Soviet Union that began during Stalin's final years as dictator there.
It's not like Roosevelt was looking to build condo projects in the Soviet Union under Stalin.
Well no, the US ended up in three decades of cold war because when Molotov came to Washington (at FDR's request so that they could agree on the split up of Europe) Truman, was such a pig to him, contrary to the way that FDR conducted himself, that Molotov left the US the next day! Truman was the military Industrial complex's "toady" and so put the world on a nuclear war footing until the collapse of the USSR!!
Trump wants to withdraw troops from all of these useless wars and all of you guys are saying he is doing the wrong thing? Don't you have Sons and daughters??

So, let's see here, they think he should have recused himself but when rosenstein who signed one of the fisa warrants and is clearly conflicted, was evasive in his testimony, he should not have to recuse himself and he wasn't dodging questions.
OK. Got it. No double standard here.
Isn't Rosenstein on his way out? Good riddance!

Thanks. I am currently on a retirement ext. I receive a military disability pension from Oz. Need monthly income method.
Why not just transfer the DVA pension from your bank in Oz into your bank in Thailand, CBA only charges $22 for AUD to AUD (Thai Bank account) transfers!

I've been using Grab for over a year. I have found them great in most cases.
When you book through your app you have choice of grab taxi or grab car. Grab car is a fixed price per app and a modern private unmarked car is usual. If you go with grab taxi, the approx fare on the app is 10-20% higher than what you'll actually pay. It's calculation is usually based on GPS and traffic conditions. Grab taxi is always on meter price + 20bht booking fee.
Every week I take a 25km trip with grab taxi. App approx price shown is 230-265 Bht. The paid meter fare is usually 190-200 Bht + 20 Bht booking fee.
One time my mistake was booking a grab car. I hit the wrong choice on the app. Fixed price to same destination was 240 Bht in a newish modern saloon. You also accrue greater points on Grab car than taxi. And no extra booking fee..
I have only ever had 2 cancellations due to high traffic in the area. And sometimes the driver will call to clarify location or I send message in app with soi no and house no etc.
Highly recommend Grab and you get to review the driver out of 5 stars at end of trip. And a trip receipt is automatically emailed too..
I've used Grab in CM a couple of times, brilliant, with English speaking drivers, non frightening driving habits and very happy to offer extra trips...all at very reasonable prices! Better than grabbing a metered taxi any day! IMHO

Good for you Looster! Doesn't it get a bit boring reading comments by TV'ers upset about not being entertained! Wise words well written, they apply to every country as well, all you can do is to keep banging away on your drum, who knows, maybe someday people will listen?

The initial report incorrectly numbered the aboriginal population, 2016 census put the them at about 116,000 (memory fails me) with 2000 in Sydney and less in Melbourne...It smells of reverse racism (we're white, we must be wrong!)! Who is organising the marchers, who is financing them? Of course the MS media is flogging the "problem", the more outrageous the reports the higher the viewer count, the more to charge for ad time...ho hum (the drums Caruthers, will they never cease?)

I assumed that he would always have a protection detail with him, so why did they let him drive with no seat belt, and besides that, why is a 97 year old man with a history of health problems allowed to drive on a public road anyway? IMO it's insanity, and just asking for a problem like that.
Should ANY 97 year old be allowed to drive on a public road?
Steady on, he still has hair on his chest (so I believe) and besides, if you were fit and healthy and 97 wouldn't you like to be independent of public transport?? ????
