  1. These work for me.

If you don't like ads try an add-on like Ublock origin and Privacy Badger

I won't say 'Google it' cause I don't use it but a search for "subtitles" will give you the same results.

I'm guessing you may want to search "how to use subtitles" also. You need to rename the file to the same name as the video and put them in the same folder.

Good luck and Be good Johnny.

  2. If I were you to play it safe, and if you have the time in BKK is to just treat the whole thing as 2 separate trips. Check in domestic to BKK collect your bag, go upstairs and check in again for the international flight.

I say this purely from the standpoint of the likelyhood of your bag/s going astray if you try to check all the way through with 2 different airlines who are not within the same group. I think the hassle of rechecking in in BKK outweighs the potential hassle of not having your bag/s when you arrive in Kenya.

Technically there should be no issues with checking all the way through but I just like to minimise the risk where I can.

One possible problem with doing that is that flying domestically you may not have the same baggage allowance as the international leg of the journey. If you check in all on one itinerary the higher baggage allowance of the international leg applies to the domestic leg as well. If you don't have much baggage then obviously it's no big deal.

  3. I tried to do the report online many, many, many times while I was in the window of 1-2 weeks before report date. I kept getting the same message, "contact your local immigration office".

I tried with IE, Chrome and Firefox. I used the User Agent Overrider, IE Tab, User-Agent Switcher and all caps, as suggested in the 90 Day Online Reporting thread. After the first page where you enter your details I would always get the "contact your local immigration office" message.

  4. Sounds interesting. I was going to ask how you like the service, but since you said you "renewed" your service, you must be happy with them smile.png

Do you stream sports or Netflix through them or use torrents?

    Any complaints about them?0

Sorry about the delay in replying.

Yes, I'm happy with the service. I would have renewed even at full price. No complaints. Customer service replies to questions in less than 24 hours and give useful detailed answers as opposed to generic BS replies.

I like that you can have 3 devices connected simultaneously.

There are three encryption levels you can chose from for better speed or better security.

I stream with Kodi all the time and speeds are decent, in line with my 10MB TOT service.

They have DNS Proxy so you don't even need to log into the VPN to view Netflix and other similar services.

P2P (torrents) are not a problem. I do it all the time. They just ask that you use certain servers to keep legal. Here is a list of servers they allow P2P on.

    Hope that helps.

  5. I just renewed my VPN service and tried a code that I saw on another site and it worked.

The company is IronSocket. They usually charge $49.99 for a years service. So $24.98 for a year is pretty good.

The code is: VPNC50. I don't know how long the code is good for so if you are interested you should act fast. I think its a Black Friday Promo.

Also if you could use my referral code (42030599) it would give me some extra time on my service.

    Cheers

  6. Wow bah.gif That web page is a severe test of patience. Once I was finally able to get past all the bugs and hiccoughs and input my data on the first page all it does is return a blank page. 2 or 3 hours trying yesterday and 2 more today. I give up. The IE Tab worked a lot better than the User Agent Overrider though. I'm gonna have to go to immigration.

On a positive note, I was 12 days late last time and they waived the B2000 fine with a warning not to do it again smile.png. I promised that I would do it online and not waste their time again. Oh well, at least I won't be late.

  7. I started messing with the MX Thai TV and got it to work.

If you would like to try it's very easy to install onto Kodi.

    Go to http://www.thaisatellite.tv/repo/plugin.video.mxthai/

    Download the last file. "plugin.video.mxthai-1.1.3.zip"

In Kodi go to "System" then "add-ons" and select "install from zip file"

Navigate to where you saved the .zip file and select it and it will install.

Now go back to the main Kodi welcome screen and select Video add-ons you will see MX Thai in your list. Select it and pick what channel you want to watch.

  8. The SuperRepo repository for Kodi has 3 video add-ons for Thai TV. IPTVxtra PSI-TH, IPTVxtra Thai and IPTVxtra Thai Lite & HD. Between them you can view most any Thai TV channel.

If your internet IP address is not in Thailand you may need a VPN connected to a Thai server.

The MX repository found in the Community Portal has/had a good Thai TV viewer but has not worked for me for awhile.

  9. Just a thought, some phones interpret the first zero dialed as a plus (+) sign. Is it possible that is happening to you?

P.S. I always wondered what companies used what prefixes for long distance calls. For last 12 years I have used AIS and only used 009 to call USA. So I understand now that is CAT. They seem to be reasonable but I have not tried other prefix codes either. So thanks to the guys that listed the various companies and codes.

  10. “Governor Chamroen Tipayapongtada has ordered me to set up the beach management teams and ensure that we are following all regulations and that none of our actions are illegal,”

If I understand the law correctly, no one is allowed to make a profit on the king's beaches. Hence the reason they were cleared in the first place.

Now in these 10% zones umbrellas can be rented out. Maybe other things available as well. It seems to me that the 10% zone is illegal already.

And the jet skis and para-sailers still get to use 100% of the beach to make money. Insanity rules on Phukets beaches! facepalm.gif

Also the 10% zone is the only place that anyone who wants to bring their own chairs and umbrellas can use. So they will have to compete for the same space as the people that are renting out umbrellas. Sounds like a perfect cluster-f@#!
