Worst Joke Ever 2025
xtrnuno41 replied to warfie's topic in Jokes - Puzzles and Riddles - Make My Day!
Comes close to the buying a banana for 6 million $ -
If all is nonsense, please enlighten me. I picked, copied the Emirates gestures in flying with them. It is on their site. You let me know now, it is not like that? So I called Emirates and asked about it and they stated, there is no holding back/blocking you in your flight. I can fly Emirates to Thailand. That is the answer on OP question. I fly in december and have return ticket in new year, longer then 60 days Specific mentioned dates. Then the second part is Thai immigration, E visa site, in which is stated you can stay 60 days and extend then at immigration office. Copied that one from site in blue. I filled it in on the tourist visa check with a 150 days to go. Nothing in red with warnings, only a SUGGESTION of doing a visum at Thai embassy. And that one is for getting in Thailand. Theoretical also not a problem, but then if there was, you then should book on onward ticket, though you already have a return ticket, never mind the date. But that is getting in Thailand and not on plane. The other part, is maybe helpful for him to know when he is in Thailand. Just put it in extra, as pre answer on his next question when he is there. OK, off topic then.

Emirates, IATA says , as you can fly, same ruling as IATA Extension of stay is possible. Passengers are allowed to enter if their stay will exceed the actual visa-free period as long as they hold a return/onward ticket. Warning: Visitors who are visa exempt but do not hold return/onward tickets could be refused entry. E visa site, they give you approval as you can extend ! Only as a SUGGESTION they come up with a visa to order. And that is a very official site. With a Tourist visa, you can stay in Thailand for no longer than 60 days. If you wish to stay in Thailand for more than 60 days, you can extend your stay with the Immigration Bureau. Suggestion : You may apply for visa at the following mission(s) Royal Thai Embassy, London See video from George (deeper dive) page 11 and scroll down: It all should be without problem , entering Thailand and extending, according Nurachai Ninnad, Deputy director general of ministry of foreign affairs. Every time it is said. However there are air flight companies , blocking you. Like KLM and EVA air. KLM demands a visum and EVA let you sign a contract, they are not responsible if you get refused. With all reading, I also decided to fly Emirates on exempt with having a return ticket on april . It should be enough is my conclusion and sure hope the IO also approves. Just red BilliBobsteeth experiences about doing borderruns, he pays 2000 Baht to have a new 60days exempt but not staying in Malaysia. https://aseannow.com/topic/1339320-border-run-to-wang-prachan-malaysia/#comment-19267306 As is said, you should stay out of Thailand for 1-2 days when going for a new exempt. So by paying 2000 baht, he avoids that rule and get in right away. Also red a story about another border runner (Laos or Cambodia) and also could get in after paying 2000 baht ! It is not according to rules, but for a farang very handy to know.

First time with mentioned settings, too much, though rice was still "ok". but too dry. My micro wave does 900 W and halve is 450 W. Second time, some more water and reduced second time by 2 minutes, Way better. Well it is just experimenting with it, but at least the rice didnt cook complete dry. Guess I will throw away the old rice cooker with the plastic bottom.

THanks for the idea, Always did in electric rice cooker but with plastic coating. Should stop with it, as coating will be PFAS and is not good. It is so easy in the cooker but at the same time also like this and no worries about the PFAS.👍 Stupid I didnt think about it my self.

Thailand Considers Nuclear Energy as Gas Supplies Dwindle
xtrnuno41 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Well they are not Hinkley's , but who is going to pay up and exploiting it? Private companies as wel? Still there is a lot of gas, but countries are switching, they must. CO2 problem. ME countries want to sell gas, but on long contracts, which isnt appreciated. Of course a USA dont care , buy the gas and export it again, fast big money. Ships going to USA and then sell and again back to everywhere in the world. Or would they be sensible to export direct then and them as a in between "person"? Russian gas is still sold to an EU, only then it has to come in with a ship, excluded from sanctions, yha right. And as consumer, you pay the bill. But maybe Thailand also has to go nucleair. It is waiting on nucleair fusion. Just red this week Thailand also wants to expand on solar and then H2? -

Do Men Have Their Own Kind of “Menopause”? Or Is It Just Me?
xtrnuno41 replied to 123Stodg's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Well they say, it is there and is called andropause. SAme as with menopause it can effect body and mind. osteoporosis can occur. Since last year my libido really faded away. Red about it and a reaction from a man was, he didnt get libido back having TRT. Testosteron Replacement Therapy. I thought, overall, it would help. But they say if you pump up testosteron level, it can cause prostate cancer. My doc also came up with it, so what I do now? It was the first thing he mentioned, when asking him about TRT A prostate treatment on cancer doesnt seem to be nice and also effects you in mind and actions. And yes mellowing. Also sometimes think, I did this , I did that, I was interested in this and that. Now I have to kick my butt from time to time to really do, no clue if it is in the testosteron level. Also on medicines now, so what is that doing to the rest of body? The so called side effects. As there are the common known effects, but anybodies body can respond different and I surely know by experience.. Maybe better to do nothing (TRT) and live with it, accepting, levels are going down in age and have effect.. -

Pattaya Relies on Tunnel to Solve Flooding Issues
xtrnuno41 replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
Well if Pattaya needs a pump, in "my"country, they built the biggest pump in the world. Even a second and a third one, all the same. Doing 50000 ltr/SEC ! horsepower of 5,364 ! lights will go out in Pattaya https://fairbanksnijhuis.pentair.com/en/news/new-super-pump-for-ijmuiden-pumping-station The Largest Pump in Operation Can Fill your Swimming Pool in 1.5 Seconds The world’s largest pump was custom built by Pentair for the pumping station Ijmuiden in the Netherlands. Roughly 1/3 of the Netherlands is below sea level, with the lowest point being 20ft below sea level. Because of the landscape they are at high-risk for flooding in the region. This pump is part of the largest pumping station in Europe which helps control water levels feeding in from the North Sea. To give an idea of its scale and power, the pump has a capacity of 60,000 liters/second, and requires 5,364 horsepower to operate at this level. It could fill your backyard swimming pool in 1.5 seconds, and an Olympic-sized pool in less than a minute. -

xtrnuno41 replied to snoop1130's topic in Isaan News
Indeed do not understand why not transferred to customs. Think they can do good with problems in airports. Also they can smell a lot from bombs, drugs, money. maybe an additional training in it. Reasons are weird to thin? give them food, too heavy, give less food, train more. Too friendly, well give me that one. -
Dutch Tourist Hurls Objects at Udon Thani Café Staff Over Change Dispute
xtrnuno41 replied to webfact's topic in Isaan News
It is said "drunken outburst" but is it? Alcohol however reduces boundaries, thats true. Maybe he is very principal and doesnt except stealing from him, even 130 baht. Would you? Maybe he had a former experience in it. Clearly he over reacts, but is depending on the person. Some people have a very short fuse, even without alcohol. I have seen phone movies about costumers in shops and jeepers the whole place was torn down for a tiny thing they didnt get. There has been a Dutch guy, who went to court for such an amount, paying his hospital bills. Pure based on principal way. The one really to blame is the #$$%@#% "friend". He lets it escalate to this. I remember a payment in a 7-11 and they gave me too less return money. At that time , I did raise my voice sound more, the longer it took to get what they stole. Not instantly, but on denying first of staff. I shamed them in front of other costumers. And no, didnt had any alcohol. I didnt except stealing. Would you?! Here such a movie, no alcohol. Maybe would be good commercial for Snickers. "you are not yourself when hungry, have a snickers !" -

Solar panels to charge EV directly?
xtrnuno41 replied to Ste78's topic in Alternative/Renewable Energy Forum
Your found set up; They show a brand, I cant find. Then they, in description say "no brand" Xinli (electro) could find, is in servo motors, Xinleyang , as electro company, totally nothing(Alibaba) It says 12 VDC from solar regulator and/or(?) 5 VDC. For your car you need, Thai 240 VAC, so from regulator, it is not there. You need inverter to 240 VAC. Then your built in charger in car will charge the batteries. When all kinds of contradictions are there, then Im already to run away from it. Sometimes even they put in totally different items and you dont get what you want. Just had it in Temu with 2 orders. SO then you read well and then ... disappointment. Dont forget lazada, etc are a selling platforms and anybody can sell everything, not even knowing anything about what they are selling or even care. -
What ever you buy, not Thai, you will die ! Was very cheap, but absolutely a crime.

Using air conditioning and humidifiers together
xtrnuno41 replied to poppysdad's topic in General Topics
You wake up several times a night, your mouth is dry. Maybe you have sleep apneu? Once it started with me , waking up in the morning with a very dry throat/mouth. Didnt feel like me, so to doctor, hospital and diagnosed sleep apneu, over 40 stops in a night. Sleeping in the night, had no problems, didnt wake up, but in the morning, no fun. First thing was water. But probably depending on your condition. The higher the setting of temperature of airco, the more moist. You put humidifier in room, first more moist , but airco will take it out again. You could also put a tile of water in the room, as the water will evaporate, depending on temp setting airco. That will cost you no extra energy. Maybe worth a try. Draw a line on the level of water and you can see in teh morning how much water was evaporated during the night.
