But I do think that AG Garland's slow, methodical, by-the-book approach will only embolden Trump. The AG needs to stop messing around and indict Trump already for the J6 debacle. This is almost a trick question. Most of us would like to believe that we think for ourselves, do what we want, and not abide by all of society's silly rules. But reality isn't like that. If you live alone on a desert island, then you can do want you want anytime you want. Nobody cares. But if you want to be a part of society, then you will have to make an effort to "fit in." They used a ranked-choice system. There were 1 Dem and 2 Rep, and the votes for the third-place finisher (a Rep) were redistributed to his voter's second choices. Interesting that quite a few of Nick Begich voters put Peltola as their 2nd choice rather than Palin, a fellow Republican.

This may very well portend what's to come in the mid-terms. Palin with a well known name and with Trump's endorsement still got beat by a Democrat in a relatively red state. This is what McConnell was talking about regarding candidate quality. Some of these Trump-endorsed candidates are rather weak and although the ex POTUS can move the needle in a primary, he may do more harm than good in a general election.
