  1. Of course they can pull the pin at any time they want. If the cannabis is not specifically for medical use then the shops are selling illegal drugs openly.
  2. Golly gee. Imagine MBS over ruling the advisory panel. I wonder why he did not use his own money and keep all the profits for himself. It is not as if he cannot afford it.

  4. Thaksin is only taking advantage of what is already there and available to anybody with enough money. He didn't design the system and the only way to fix it is to have a complete clear out from the top to the bottom. MFP "might" have been able to do something, but you know what happened to them. IMO there is no one and no political party big enough or strong enough to achieve that. There is a very faint possibility that one person at the very top may be able to do something, but the chance of that happening, is far greater than the chance of me winning the lottery.
  5. Rubbish How many of the doctors that 'proved' the issue were genuine recovered alcoholics? I KNOW that I will not take any more than one alcoholic drink a year. How do I know? Because I know me. You don't know me and neither do any of the doctors know me. I used to be a smoker but I quit 5 times successfully. Am I a reformed smoker or will I revert to smoking again? Seeing that I quit in 1970 which was 53 years ago, I am certainly going to start again now. How do I know? Because I know me. You don't know me and neither do any of the doctors know me. A little quote for you. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=there+are+lies+damn+lies+and+statistics&sca_esv=567611878&sxsrf=AM9HkKkl0wjzbNOpl0N-atI5vaewOILczA%3A1695396825442&source=hp&ei=2bMNZc_cFojf2roPgJOr-As&iflsig=AO6bgOgAAAAAZQ3B6TAe48D8hQF4j3gfhHRIpk5I7D-4&oq=there&gs_lp=Egdnd3Mtd2l6IgV0aGVyZSoCCAAyBxAjGIoFGCcyBxAuGIoFGCcyBxAAGIoFGEMyBxAAGIoFGEMyBxAuGIoFGEMyBRAAGIAEMgUQABiABDIFEAAYgAQyBRAAGIAEMgUQABiABEiOJ1AAWM4IcAB4AJABAJgBrQGgAdEFqgEDMC41uAEByAEA-AEBwgILEC4YgAQYxwEY0QPCAgUQLhiABMICCBAuGIAEGNQC&sclient=gws-wiz "Lies, damned lies, and statistics" is a phrase describing the persuasive power of statistics to bolster weak arguments, "one of the best, and best-known" critiques of applied statistics. It is also sometimes colloquially used to doubt statistics used to prove an opponent's point.
  6. At 75 I quit drinking alcohol overnight after some 60 years to give my body its last few years to recover. At that time I was drinking 3 or 4 x 750 bottles of Hong Thong a week with soda and ice. I never tried to stop drinking before. Was I an alcoholic? I honestly don't know. I still drink alcohol, but only 1 shot of Stroh 80 proof rum with coke every New Years Eve. Does that mean I was an alcoholic and will always be, even with only 1 alcoholic drink every 365 days?
  7. There are a few words that I always mis spell, but they generally show up underlined in red. I then go to Google, retype it and it shows me the correct spelling in UK English. Reasonably simple in English, but in Ukrainian I wouldn't like to hazard a guess. Thai is bad enough but IMO Welsh is the worst. In English it is town, in Welsh it becomes tref. Computer becomes cyfrifiadur, yet car is the same as English. English becomes Saesneg, similar to Jockinese or in English slang it becomes those bar stewards in Whitehall, London, which comes out as bratiaith Saesneg mae’n dod yn stiwardiaid bar yn Whitehall, Llundain
  8. But that was 2 coups before Prayuth stole the country lock stock and barrel including the 'justice' system. I doubt if anyone could get a fair trial if the coup leaders acted against you. I doubt if Thaksin could get a fair and independent trial even today on the trumped up charges brought against him.
  9. In reality, the worst are ALWAYS the military and until Thailand takes control of them and publicly executes every senior officer involved in every coup, they will keep happening. Then, and only then, can Thailand take full control over the corrupt police, civil service, religious bodies and finally get to the, for want of a better term 'honest' criminals.
  10. In reality, it will be what Mother Nature decides she wants to do.
  11. If you go off route with your GPS it normally updates its self and gives an alternative route,
  12. He is a rapist. Just chop both off and ignore semantics. If he dies from a loss of blood, who would really care? He has ruined a 9 year old school girls like, violated her rights to a normal life, and you are quoting semantics? Come into the world where the punishment should fit the crime. Should I care if the sick bar steward dies or not?
  13. Nice video and nothing to do with the topic. Should I get it fact checked?
  14. I, OTOH, would much rather believe fact checkers than an anonymous poster on a forum, especially as you are only offering an unsupported opinion.
  15. The ANN link below on this subject seems to be dated 2019 which would put it firmly into Prayuth's regime. https://aseannow.com/topic/1081671-foreigners-now-need-to-keep-800k-in-thai-bank-for-three-months-after-retirement-extension-is-granted/
  16. Did he not look out of the windscreen, or were his eyes glued to the GPS screen? Google maps and GPS are good navigation aids, BUT they are only as accurate as the last update.
  17. It is whatever you want to believe it is.
  18. And your suggestion to control illegal border crossers would be what exactly? It is no use complaining about border crossings without coming up with an alternative.
  19. Ooops. Plan B. https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-66883986 I thought it was all over. It is now. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=612214739161420
  20. How can any male get an erection, if his dick and balls are physically removed from his body?
  21. From the BBC News website this morning 22 September 2023 https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-66878234 https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-66878234 The first is from the Lib/Dem annual conference, and the second from the labour party spokesperson.
  22. Go to your profile in the top right of the screen, click on the down arrow and scroll to ignored users, click that which takes you to Ignored users, then follow the instructions by inputting the persons full name that you want to ignore, then click on the relevant tick boxes. I had to look up the idiots guide a couple of days ago.
  23. Me neither. I put him on my ignore this troll list this evening,
  24. I talked to the rock as I talk to you. The difference was that I got a straight answer without any denial, diversion or wandering off topic The rock also seemed smarter than you, but that is only my opinion, you may well disagree.
