  1. AFAIK AI needs a human input to generate an image, again AFAIK AI also needs a human input to access any website, MSM or social media  to add the image and to post the image, because at this point, AI is still inanimate and it is unable to actually generate a post itself.

If anyone can be blamed. it is the person who posted the picture and the moderators (if any) who allowed the post to be sent in the first place.

Nope.  Read it again.  Ukraine’s constitution prohibits the holding of elections during martial law, which was extended in July 2023, one year after Russia’s full-scale invasion.

What he conveniently omitted to mention was that was actually passed earlier and extended in July 2923.

The full text of the link is here, and I have emboldened what I think are the relevant parts

On Sunday, Zelenskyy stated that he would step down if it would secure peace for Ukraine, adding that he would also resign if it guaranteed the country’s NATO membership. However, the Ukrainian parliament emphasized on Tuesday that Zelenskyy was elected in a legitimate vote and remains the country’s lawful president. The body further confirmed that national elections will not be held until martial law is lifted following the establishment of a “comprehensive, fair, and sustainable peace.”

Ukraine’s constitution prohibits the holding of elections during martial law, which was extended in July 2023, one year after Russia’s full-scale invasion. The resolution underlines that neither the Ukrainian people nor the Verkhovna Rada question Zelenskii’s legitimacy and states that, under the country’s constitution, he must remain in office until a new president is elected.

A clever move which only works, if people accept his word and don't bother to open the link and read the full text.

A summary of what has happened so far:

Trump/Vance demand that Zelenskiy and Putin come to the negotiating table.

    Zelenskiy agrees.  Putin refuses.

    Trump/Vance:  UkRaINe Is AT FauLt!

How any can conclude that Trump/Vance are not in Putin's pocket, it's unfathomable.

Because Trump/Vance/MAGA supporters will always deny/deflect and ridicule anything that Trump does not like or approve of.

There are none so blind, as those who refuse see.

The negotiations are over. Zelenski had a chance to ally with US by signing a deal with them. They instead turned the meeting into a farce and getting thrown out of the WH.

Up to now those negotiations have not ceded anything. So why, would the US protect the Ukraine if there is no vested interest or benefit to the US?

Yet when the USA needed help other countries in the world stepped up to assist without hesitation, putting their own men and women, regardless of race colour or creed on the line to help.

They were. and are, called allies.

The fat, useless, orange blob is throwing all that away, stabbing allies in the back, tearing up treaties and treating old allies as enemies, and old enemies as "new" friends.

The sad thing about all this, is that people like you are helping him and NOT helping the people of the USA who oppose him and all that he stands for. People like you have elected a convicted criminal, a sex offender and a serial liar into becoming POTUS, and yet you show no shame or remorse.

As a fugitive she should have no say in this matter unless her former puppeteer have other plans.

As she was overthrown by an illegal military coup, IMHO she has a right to her voice, whether you like it or not,

She is Thai, and has a voice and a vote in Thailand, which is more than farangs have.

The US did its research on Thai governments...

Perhaps the Thai government did its own research on the current US government and decided that the Gripen was cheaper to buy, cheaper to fly, cheaper to maintain and a better buy all around.

Not to mention, that the current US government under Trump is far less trustworthy than the Swedish government.

Lovely sunny story on a forum that specialises in dark clouds.

How long together before you knew she was a keeper?

I fell in love with my Thai wife within a couple of months but it was 7 years before we married. I was working in Thailand during 1993 and 1994 to 1997, with a side trip to Indonesia in 1994.

So I guess it was a couple of years.

I got sent off to other countries in between jobs in Thailand and elsewhere, and it was a long distance affair for a while, though she did come to me for a month in Sri Lanka and also to France, Germany and the UK.

The inter-provincial and tour buses in Thailand are death traps. Period. Avoid at all costs.

    Rubbish.

I used to take the National Transport Company bus  from the local village to Bangkok. some 350 odd km, for years and had no problem. That was either the lower deck of a 1 1/2 deck bus, or the single deck bus without any problems.

How many times have you taken an inter provincial bus?

  9. To have "found myself" in Thailand, assumes that I had lost myself somewhere along the way.

    Not true in the slightest.

What I did "find" in Thailand was my second wife and we will celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary next week.

She is the best thing I have ever found in my 80 year life.

  10. Many years ago I rode my motorbike back from Mae Sot on the Mae Sot to Tak highway before they government improved it. I was going down the hills in 3rd gear with trucks and buses roaring past me, and all I could smell was burning asbestos from brake pads and brake linings.

I was glad to get off that road and back on the AH 1/2 towards Kamphaeng Phet to get rid of the smell. Back then it was one of the worst roads in Thailand.

    No synchromesh???

Of course, but old tried and true habits die hard.

One truck I used to drive had no synchromesh, a 5 speed gearbox and a 2 speed rear axle. That WAS a bitch to drive and change gear, especially when it was fully loaded.

I still find enjoyment in changing gear smoothly and quietly matching engine revs to road speed instead of just ramming the truck into gear and letting the clutch up, synchromesh or not.

A pointless and wasteful exercise in a modern small  vehicle. Use the function designed for slowing down a small passenger vehicle. Brakes are cheaper to replace than transmissions, clutches and engines. Do you still look for the starting handle too ?

    BS.

My Ford Ranger is 23 years old with 48x,xxx km on the clock.

It still; has the original engine, gearbox and transmission which has never been replaced though as any normal rational person would expect, the brakes have been replaced several times.

Not too bad for a Fix On Road Daily (Ford).

Aa I've said, this thing with China will be over soon. Probably within a month.  At this point, why don't you sit back, watch, and see if I'm not right.  I have pretty good sources.

What a pity that you don't name and link your sources yo your posts.

You seem to believe that people will accept your words as the truth. Personally I never accept the words of any Trump supporter. Their words are the same as Trump's, who is a confirmed serial liar.

Pheu Thai never had the public support to be the party in power.

They stole it from the Move Forward party and have struggled ever since.

The only thing that has got them to where they are now is the 10,000 baht 'vote buying' schemes.

They have now run out of publlc funds to continue that charade.

Can you please explain your conclusion that the PTP "stole" the election from the MFP. IIRC the MFP did not gain enough seats for a parliamentary majority, (neither did the PTP), but they were given the opportunity and the time to form a (coalition) government. After the time period was up and they still could not form a government, the opportunity was then passed to the party with the next highest number of seats, according to the law. The PTP could and did form a coalition government which is where Thailand is today. Should the coalition government break up, then a new election should be called and once again, the party with the largest number of seats will be called on to form a government.

Also if a political party is dissolved. its MPs have 90 days to move to another party or they will lose their MP status.
