  1. Nothing is stopping any poster after a few years away from re registering and starting anew.
  2. But they will not e allowed to form a government as has been proven in the past few weeks. If this is allowed for fester for another 10 months, it will give the current caretaker government another 10 months to reinforce their choice of senators and nobody will be able to stop them. Additionally they can change the voting laws and prevent ANY other party from forming a government. That a PTP led government could do the same is immaterial, and the MFP certainly wanted to change the rules. IMHO there will be a large number of protests and perhaps another military coup, whether it is successful or not remains to be seen. I don't think it will be done by the current mob, as they are out of favour with the army. Whether the person at the top will approve or intervene I truly have no idea.
  3. A quote from your post. "We know this is a third world country". Please speak only for yourself and not WE. You certainly don't speak for me. Another quote "I have spoken". Who cares what you have spoken? Are you the Lord High Poo Bah, that your words are more important than anybody else's?
  4. Actually IIRC the MFP were not the choice of the majority of Thais, though they did win more seats than any other party, they actually won only 38% of the votes cast. It should be obvious to most people that the MFP, even with the other coalition parties, will not be able to form a government, so perhaps they should move over and let the next biggest party try to form a government and find a PM.
  5. Not forgetting that they are filling their own pockets as well.
  6. So in your opinion anybody that arrives in the UK. without a valid visa or entry permit is NOT an illegal immigrant, even though hundreds make the crossing from France every day by boat. If they stayed in their own countries and applied for a proper entry visa, I and perhaps millions of other people may believe you, BUT they don't. Many of them destroy their passports, and refuse to understand that they are NOT stateless people, and that they have no automatic right of entry to any country other than their own. The UK gives them somewhere to stay, food and a small amount daily to live on, all paid for by the taxpayers. In the meantime British citizens are homeless and many use food banks so that at least they and their children can eat at least one meal a day.
  7. It was passed in 1948 I believe, and not one government has bothered to change it. All subsequent governments have defended it, yet it would be so easy to change and over 500,xxx people and their dependants would benefit from the change. And any governments response would be, we can't afford it. It costs over 7 million quid per DAY to support the illegal immigrants, who only take but never give back.
  8. Oddly enough Wan Muhamad Noor Matha has been in 8 political parties since he became a politician. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wan_Muhamad_Noor_Matha He was elected to the Thai House of Representatives in 1979 representing Yala Province and the Social Action Party until 1984. Other political affiliations Social Action Party (until 1984) Democrat Party (1985–1987) Solidarity Party (1987–1992) New Aspiration Party (1992–2000) Thai Rak Thai Party (2001–2006) People's Power Party (2007–2009) Matubhum Party (2010–2018)
  9. If I went to my branch of KBank and demanded 1billion baht all the staff would have collapsed with laughter. Besides, I like my bank manger, though sometimes I think the only word of English she knows is NO. ????
  10. My brother used to live in St Catherines, Canada just opposite the Niagara Falls and would never have got the increase. If he had lived on the US side and commuted he would have got the increase. In the US Samoa they get the increase. In British Samoa they don't get the increase.
  11. Many years ago there was one particular dog on the main road that used to chase me while I was on my 200cc Honda Phantom. I got fed up after a while and I would change down the gears and speed past it. Then I would turn around and chase it. It took a little while but it learnt the sound of my motorbike and stayed away from me when I rode past. The owner never came out, even though the dog was at the entrance to his driveway.
  12. Please tell me how many people Thaksin actually, personally murdered.
  13. You seem to think that you are? So what punishment would you give, if possible, to every general involved id stealing the country by an illegal military coup? To my knowledge, NONE have ever been punished since the first coup back in 1932,
  14. It would give an accurate count of active members. At least once a day while I am logged in on ANN/TVF I get a message saying that there is a problem and the problem is always at the ANN/TVF server wherever that is. I click on reload and it comes back straight away.
  15. Would it be possible to weed out all the posters who have not made any posts or responses for more than a year?
  16. Instead of a blanket ban, why not deal with each case individually?
  17. Who promoted you to be in charge of this thread? He has the same posting rights as you. If you have a problem report it to the moderators, and accept their decision.
  18. But his pitbulls are the nicest and friendliest pitbulls around, They would never hurt anyone or anything. He comes up with this every time that any pitbulls attack people. Until one day they will.
  19. There must be a huge conflagration around Prayuth then, but nobody really knows his worth as he REFUSES to release any details at all. At least Pita stood for election, which is something that Prayuth has NEVER done.
  20. One thing I have learned over my years in Thailand is NEVER trust anything a Thai politician says. It may apply to other countries, but I can't comment on that as I have spent over half my working life, east of Suez in various countries,
  21. No comments by the Trump supporters here, shouting that he is too old and that he should retire. The same sort of comments that they would use if it were President Biden.
  22. There are NO dedicated MPs for pensioners who are affected by this. There are NO votes in it for any MP, so why would they vote to spend even more of the taxpayers money to increase our pensions? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salaries_of_members_of_the_United_Kingdom_Parliament#:~:text=MPs normally receive a pension, accrual rate of 1%2F40th. Basic salary The basic annual salary of an MP in the House of Commons is £86,584.[1] That is more than 10 times my annual frozen pension rate. Pension MPs normally receive a pension of either 1/40th or 1/50th of their final pensionable salary for each year of pensionable service depending on the contribution rate they chose. Members who made contributions of 13.75% of their salary gain an accrual rate of 1/40th.[24] If an MP stands down during the course of a Parliament due to ill health, an ill health retirement grant is payable, calculated in the same way as the Resettlement Grant (as well as an immediate pension based on the service the MP would have accrued if they had continued to serve until age 65). There is a lot more information in the link including Resettlement Grant Winding-up Allowance Office expenses Housing, second home, and travel
  23. Please tell us all about the true reasons for the conflict. I am interested in different versions of the truth, especially when links are attached.
  24. How so? It is his property and they are paying no rent. If you feel so strongly, then you take them to court. It is the owners business and not yours.
  25. And just how many MPs does the Plung Sungkom Mai party actually have?
