Billing brawl: Furious Thai man triggers chaos over Lotus’s overcharge
billd766 replied to snoop1130's topic in Pattaya News
Another TikTok user revealed in the comment section that the man was angry because the cashier overcharged him. The cashier admitted to her fault, apologised, and solved the issue, but he was not satisfied. quote "The cashier admitted to her fault, apologised, and solved the issue". If it were me I would have accepted the cashiers apology and that would have been the end of it. The plonker however was not satisfied, and IMHO opinion, should not be allowed out without holding his Mummy's hand. In his Mummy's other hand she should carry a big stick to whack him with when he screws up. However I am a grown up farang of 79 years and not a spoilt brat. -
Senate deputy chairman says Pita “unlikely to get 5 votes” from senators

T,Rex were a UK pop group led by Marc Bolan. One of their songs seems particularly apt nowadays, though I wouldn't expect any of the current mob of dinosaurs to either recognise or understand it. If they did, they would be terrified of it. -

Where is the proof that a prosecutor can take to a special grand jury or a grand jury? Democrat or GoP. It matters not which. -

Bangkok municipal pupils can wear hair styles and clothes of their choice
billd766 replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Progress of a sort. However this seems to only be in the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has decided to allow students in the 437 schools under its supervision to choose their own hair styles and to wear casual dress at least one day a week. Not as a general rule of schools under the Min of Ed, yet. -
Take a look at Thailand's neighbours and at ASEAN and compare them with Thailand. Look at the elections for example or the short term money flying out of Thailand. How about the forex rate which is slowly dropping? How about exports which are expanding or contracting depending on which reports you want to read. Tourism. Is it up or down? Back some 20 years and 2 military coups ago, when Thaksin was PM, Thailand was described as the tiger of Asia. Now it is the paper tiger of Asia.

I am happy for you that you are so interested in this subject, Meanwhile I, and probably most of the rest of the world, are getting on with real life and the daily challenges rather than fantasising about one person. -
But you ARE defending him. Please tell us when Pratuth joined the PPRP, what constituency did he stand for and how many votes did he get? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palang_Pracharath_Party 2019 Elections Main article: 2019 Thai general election Since its founding, the party has been widely criticized for its leaders' close relationship to the junta and alleged abuse of their cabinet positions to fund-raise and campaign for Palang Pracharath. While Prayut had strong ties to Palang Pracharath, campaigned in a quasi-political fashion to promote himself in 2017-2018 prior to election campaigning being legally permitted,[24] and was seen as its real leader, he was not an official member of the party. In late January, 2019, after the publication of the royal decree formalizing the election, four Prayut cabinet ministers resigned from their positions to campaign full-time.[25] As, under the new constitution, parties are allowed to name non-members as their prime minister candidates, the following day, the party announced their three candidates for prime minister would be Prayut Chan-o-cha, Uttama Savanayana, and current deputy prime minister, Somkid Jatusripitak.[16] On February 8, 2019, the party announced that their only PM candidate would be Prayut. Uttama, party leader, remarked that with Prayut as the PM candidate, Palang Pracharath would become "invincible."[26] Prayut was nominated and was duly elected Prime Minister of Thailand by members of the lower house and every member of the junta-appointed Senate save one, returning him to the position he had held as junta leader.[24] Notes Prayut was nominated as the Palang Pracharath Party Prime Minister candidate but not a party member. Once again another Wikipedia article that differs from the one that you posted.

He was never a member of ANY political party until he joined the UTN this year. Just because Wikipedia disagrees with me does not make them correct https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prayut_Chan-o-cha A completely different version of Wikipedia and Prayuth. Or this one? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Thai_Nation_Party Which is the correct one? You need to do more research and up your game.

Which BASIC pickup would you buy new or almost new?
billd766 replied to Sandboxer's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
What do you class as a basic pick up? A single cab 2/3, a 4/5 seat 2 door queen cab, a 4 door 4/5 seat cab? Then you need to decide if you want petrol, diesel or NGV/LPG. It seems that the only thing you do want is A/T. Do you want a small pickup or a standard size. You need to bear in mind why you need a pickup as the cab size dictates the load bed size. Also you need to know the weight and size of the loads you want to carry. -
Correct. You completely missed the 2019 coup. Prayuth actually got NO votes at all as he did not stand for election as either a party MP or as a party list MP. If you don't believe me, please tell us all which seat he stood for and exactly how many votes he got. You really DO need to up your game and do some research before posting rubbish.

Poll: A historic number of Americans don’t want a Biden-Trump rematch
billd766 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
IMHO a better suggestion would be that ALL politicians retire from politics on their 65th, or even better on their 60th birthday, with NO exceptions. -
Proof means nothing to him. He has none so he pumps out vast quantities of rubbish on a daily basis and vainly hopes that somebody, anybody will believe him. he has been asked for proof many times but he always tries to divert away from his words, simply because that all they are. His words, and IMHO his words are worthless as he HAS no proof. A phrase that springs to my mind on any of his posts is. "All hat and no cattle" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_Hat_and_No_Cattle#:~:text=All hat and no cattle is an idiom, all talk%2C no action". All hat and no cattle is an idiom meaning "all talk, no action".
