Greta Thunberg Detained by Danish Police During Gaza War Protest
billd766 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I agree, This has been going on since 1948 and ignored by the world until last year. Now they are talking about it, but still doing nothing, meanwhile every day Palestinians are dying, Israelis are stealing Palestinian homes and land and being ignored, Can YOU come up up with a workable plan to stop it? -
Greta Thunberg Detained by Danish Police During Gaza War Protest

40.000 killed in 9 months, over100,000 injured, nearly 1 million made homeless, starvation among the Palestinians, no food distribution, no medical supplies, over 100 journalists killed, and you think that is relatively few? From the BBC news website this morning about the West Bank. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cpdl3veg1l4o A funeral has been held for a 16-year-old Palestinian girl reportedly killed by Israeli forces in the north of the occupied West Bank on the seventh day of a wide-scale Israeli operation. Lujain Musleh’s father said she was shot in the head as she looked out of a window of her home in Kafr Dan, just outside Jenin, after soldiers surrounded a neighbouring house on Tuesday. The Israeli military said armed fighters fired at the soldiers and that they “fired back at a suspect who observed” them. Murdered for looking out of a window. -

Kamala Harris supports the Radical Trans and Homosexual Agenda

Of course there is. @Yagoda has said so, therefore it must be true. 🤣 -
Did you mean the Democrats, who won the last election fair and square, or the whining hypocrites like Trump, his MAGA supporters and the whining Trump supporters on AN who cannot accept reality. Remind us all exactly which group attacked the US Capitol and were calling to hang Mike Pence, the republican VP to stop the legal handover of power. I am sure that they were republican supporters but I am equally sure that you will disagree without any links or shred of proof. Hypocrisy, thy name is republican.

Thai man walks over 200km to hospital for daughter’s treatment
billd766 replied to webfact's topic in Chiang Mai News
There are millions of good Thai fathers and mothers in Thailand. The reason that most people don't read or hear about them, is probably they are good honest law abiding citizens that don't get into trouble or cause problems. Good news rarely sells. Bad news is simply clickbait. -
I think that a lot of countries and their leaders also know what the sticking [pint is and who is causing it. It is the megalomaniac Netanyahu, and his far right war cabinet that is the problem. There are thousands and thousands of Israeli protestors who were out on the streets of Israel over the last few days, protesting AGAINST Netanyahu and his abject failure to bring home the hostages. There are hundreds and thousands of Israeli "settlers" stealing Palestinian land and properties for illegal settlements in Gaza. There are reportedly over 40,000 Palestinian men, women, children and babies murdered by the IDF and over 100,000 Palestinian men, women, children and babies injured by the IDF. Over half the population are intentionally made homeless by Israel and the IDF. So in your opinion, tell us all who is the real sticking point in the negotiations is and why?

Deputy Interior Minister Chada pulls out of Cabinet
billd766 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Easy enough. Have a bye election voted on by the Thai constituents at his expense and accept the result. His daughter is eligible. If she wins then she takes his place, if she loses, tuff. -

From the BBC News website this morning. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cn02pz4wnyro An item from the link. quote "But Israel's prime minister struck a defiant tone, insisting its troops must control Gaza's Philadelphi Corridor - a strategically important strip of land which is a sticking point in negotiations with Hamas".

He was an adult, all grown up, married with a baby on they way. He was big enough and old enough to make up his own mind. Before the split I would think that he sought the opinions and advice of his family and then made his decision. Whether it was the right or wrong decision, it was his alone to make, probably involving his wife. possibly if he had left quietly without insulting his family, he and his children may have been welcomed back, quietly, into the family. But his wife would most likely not be welcomed. I believe that before the marriage, his wife had aspirational dreams that she would be a "fairytale" Princess and perhaps even be a Queen one day. She probably had no idea how hard the work would be, nor of the hours that have to be put in nor of the fact that at some point they would have to entertain, with a smile, people that she might not like, or even detest without complaint. He made his bed and he has to lie in it, like it or not. That is my opinion anyway.
