  1. That is how lazy posters work though.
  2. I am not sure if I was being sarcastic or not. My answer came from responding to another poster.
  3. It would be nice if you had answered the questions that I asked.
  4. They are really scraping the barrel now. I can just imagine the row of headless chickens running around in the gop.
  5. If you believe that you must also believe and agree that US citizens should be allowed to vote in elections in other peoples countries as well. Perhaps Russia could vote in US elections and the USA could vote in Russian elections. How about if Israel voted in Palestinian elections and Palestinians voted in Israeli elections, or if Iran were allowed to vote in Israeli elections? Would that be OK with you?
  6. An independent state that was invaded by Russia. Do you have a problem with the Russian invasion, or do you think it is OK for Russia to invade any independent state that it wishes, regardless of what the population want?
  7. So what should Paethongtharn have done instead? She is the PM and the leader of the party? Did any other political party turn up to help out? Good for you helping your neighbours out. Consider what the PM should do when she has 60 or 70 million people to look after.
  8. Did you visit the affected area and give out food and water, or sit and your keyboard moaning?
  9. Most people on this forum however know what you stand for. Supporting a convicted felon, supporting a convicted sex offender, supporting a serial liar. Please explain to us all what EX president Trump's policies are.
  10. The 'fight' as you call it has been going on since 1948, long before Hamas was created. The Palestinians are fighting for their existence, after having their houses and land stolen, then given illegally to Israeli "settlers". I doubt whether the Israeli military is the world's premier fighting force. They may have been many years ago, but no longer. Even using the latest in precision US weaponry they seem to kill an awful lot of innocent men, women, children, toddlers and even babies, and all for the vanity of one old man. Incidentally Israel created Hamas themselves, as a way of controlling the Palestinians.
  11. I wonder how much the TCC will be subsidising the flat rate fares by? Also why should everybody in the country subsidise public transport in Bangkok, when in reality they never use it themselves, as they live too far away?
  12. Cash is simple, easy and it works.
  13. Why don't you look at which forum this thread is running under. It is called the Political Soapbox.
  14. That is what happens when you get old, and use spell checker, even wearing glasses. It is an age thing. When I set my pc to the 100% (recommended) setting, I have a problem reading it. At 125% it is better, but as you have learned a new word, it is still not that good. When I edit my Ebook library I have to go to 150% to read some titles.
  15. 1 Where did you come up with that idea? I certainly didn't mention anything like that. 2 Yes. A question for you. 3 Why would anyone use artificial intelligence when they have their own?
  16. Yes. I did in the UK a few times. It is all about trust. If you can't trust your wife, then why marry her?
  17. My response is quite the opposite to yours. We bought the Ford Ranger in 2001 and had it registered in her name. Here we both are after 24 years of marriage and 21 years of the Ford. All 3 of us growing older together. Her Mum lived with us for about 5 years before she died, and she spent 2 weeks out of 3 down in Bangkok for a few months staying with her Dad before he died. I am lucky and you were unlucky. To the OP, it is all a matter of love and you trust her, that is what matters. It is your choice and nobody on this forum can make up your mind for you. My advice, for what it is worth, is to put it in her name. What is worth more to you, your wife , or a soulless lump of metal, glass, rubber and plastic that wont cook or do anything for you.
  18. Two radicicolous men prancing about pretending to be cool. How sad they both are.
  19. No it wouldn't. When Thaksin was PM, Thailand was doing well and the majority of the Thai people were doing well also. Under a military coup government only a small number are doing well, but the majority of the Thai people are not. Including the coup which overthrew Thaksin, there have been 3 military coups in 18 years, and the military have been in power for at least 12 of those 18 years.
  20. Not really, The farce, which is repeated with every military coup, is a bunch of geriatric dinosaur generals attempting to run a country which they stole, while pretending to know what they are doing, which they don't.
  21. True. However if you mix it yourself, you can make it as hot as you wish. I use a lot of Coleman's Mustard Powder when I make dry cured honey and mustard bacon.
  22. IMHO the best accompaniment to a pork pie is either large chunky Branston pickle, or some good hot Colemans Mustard made from mustard powder.
  23. And would you use one of these to eat YOUR meal with?
  24. Well Wikipedia explained it to me and even included an illustration. https://www.taxually.com/blog/uk-vat-rate-all-you-need-to-know-for-2023-2024#:~:text=What is the UK VAT,in the UK is 20%.
