  1. But that is only your opinion, and is worth the same as anybody that would disagree with you.
  2. It depends on who is doing the classifying. There is normal, sub normal and abnormal. Take your pick. There will be somebody coming along who will say that you are wrong, whatever choice you make. My choice for Trump would be sub normal.
  3. I could never do that at school and I hated even attempting to try it.
  4. Why are you not living in a "real" country now?
  5. When he has nothing else to offer, which is most of the time.
  6. That is why Trump is standing for the gop, and they must be desperate too, to field him.
  7. And where is the alternative candidate to replace the sex offender, convicted criminal and serial liar that masquerades as the gop candidate called Trump? Is he really the best candidate that the republicans can come up with?
  8. Also make sure that they and all those who left before them, have their pensions UN frozen. so that they can all afford to live comfortably in other countries.
  9. If they give false names, throw away their passports, docs etc you want to deport them. If they have no passports or docs, which country do you deport them to?
  10. Good luck with that. One thing I didn't see or perhaps missed was the time period. Was that 100,000 per month or per year, and for how long? Where will they all live and who will pay the cost for their housing, water, rates, build the roads, shops etc? Will they get priority with housing over the local people in the UK where the cost of buying houses is extremely high as are private rentals? If they do get priority, Why? If the houses that are to be built, council houses at low (ish) controlled rates, who will pick up the difference. The local council? Where will they get the extra money from? Not forgetting that 100,000 extra people per year will need extra resources, such as police, doctors, dentists, hospitals, council workers, dustmen. street cleaners etc. Where will they find enough jobs for them all at decent livable wages? It is a nice warm cuddly plan that seem to have been written on the back of a fag packet by dreamers with no costings and a magic money tree. Reality may come as a big surprise to some people.
  11. In April I asked in the Kamphaeng Phet office if and agents worked through them and it seems as though none worked with that office. KPP is only 1 small office, and is the only one I have firsthand knowledge of.
  12. I agree with you there. But it doesn't mean you have to like it. I am in the middle of preparing for my next marriage extension using my pension income. So far it has taken me about 6 hours to get the photos taken, edited, re-labelled and printed. I need 1 set for the local office in Kamphaeng Phet. Another set for the regional office in Chiang Mai and a 3rd set as spares, with my wife and son in them. Then I an doing another set of the same without my son, as he is at university at Chiang Rai. I believe that I am correct, my wife says that I am wrong and he has to be in them. In addition they all have to be on a form that KPP issues (and I can print out easily). It is driving me nuts. And this is without getting 3 copies of the letter from Bangkok bank and 3 copies of 12 months bank statements, each page must have a bank stamp and a scrawled signature. That takes two x 130km round trips trip to the bank and about 30 minutes to an hour each time to tell them exactly what I want. Plus of course at least 3 working days for the provincial bank branch to get authorisation from their head office. The second trip will also take in Immigration and my marriage extension. It is no wonder that I am now in the official grumpy old man, and seriously cranky mode. 😂
  13. My English is good as it is my native language, but my Thai is poor as I am 80, partly deaf and partly tone deaf especially in the upper audio frequencies. If people talk quietly behind me I find it hard to hear them, but if 2, 3 or 4 people talk at the same time, each trying to talk louder than the other, all I hear is a confusing babble of sound. My wife can speak conversational English quite well, but fails over technical English, engineering English, medical English etc. I quite often fail over stuff like computer Geek English.
  14. Perhaps because the Immigration staff, have to read them, and they may not be completely fluent in English. Are you completely fluent in speaking reading and writing in the Tai language? I am certainly not.
  15. Thailand NEVER needed Prayuth as PM. He became the PM simply by making an illegal treasonous military coup (for which he was never punished), and simply stole the whole country. lock, stock and barrel including all the judiciary. He became the PM because the senate. who he personally hand picked and appointed, made him the PM. There was NO other choice, nor did the population of Thailand have a vote or a choice. He also tore up the constitution, and had another one written to keep him in power. Thailand has NEVER needed the intervention of the military and NEVER will.
  16. Did you get an SMS from Bangkok Bank? Have you queried the Bangkok Branch or at this time of day rung the call centre? Either one should be able to tell you if the funds were transferred or not. You could log into your Wise account, look up transactions, and your latest transaction, then follow it to track my transfer and then details which should give you some information before calling the bank or Wise. If the funds were transferred the the problem would most likely be with the BBK bank. If not then it is probably with Wise, Their call centre is still open until about midnight Thai time, or 6 pm BST. If you call, Wise you will need your membership number and your account number. BTW, it has not happened to me.
  17. Who appointed you to decide who can post on a topic? He has the same right to post as you, me or anybody else. If you don't like his post skip over it. UK politics has been screwed up by both major UK political parties for many years.
  18. But the thread is about David Lammy and not Donald Trump. It is not often that I agree with anything that any Labour party spokesman says, but on this I agree 100%.
  19. TBH I would like to see it happen as well as an intelligence test, but IMHO the test should be given to every member of the house and senate and also to every prospective candidate, then repeated every 4 years BEFORE any candidates are elected. Perhaps it should also apply to politicians worldwide.
  20. Naturally YOU have the proof of this and will publish it ASAP along with the associated links. Of course if you have no proof and no links then, as usual, your post is simply your opinion, and is worth as much as any other opinion posted here, especially coming from a Trump supporter. You do actually have the proof of what you say, don't you?
  21. Looking at that lot, I now feel skinny and a whole lot younger. 🤣 Heart attacks looking for somewhere to happen.
  22. I am still driving my 2001 Ford Ranger double cab 2.5 4wd turbo with 470,xxx km on the clock. It rattles along with the same old noises and rattles that it has had for years.
  23. Are you sure that the photo should be in the jokes thread on in the EVs in Thailand thread?
  24. Not to mention the lack of food production and nuclear contaminated water supplies and radiation covering the surface of the land. There would be no food production as the majority of farmers would be dead, no fuel or electricity to plough the land, no factories or workers to convert raw materials into anything, no cars, trucks or roads and few people left alive to drive them anyway, No radio, TV or internet either. No hospitals. No tankers to bring oil into the country. How long could people live in deep bunkers without seeing the outside world? Who in their right right mind would even want to survive in a world like that. That would be the worst case scenario. Of course some places would remain untouched, but only for a while until anarchy takes over and the weak are overrun by the strong. There was a film a long time ago called "On the Beach" with a similar scenario. I have watched it several times and enjoyed the film, which was in fact based on a 1957 book of the same name written by Nevil Shute. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/On_the_Beach_(1959_film)
  25. I don't think that they are incapable, as much as some of the answers that are returned from the internet are not the answers that they want, and don't fit their theories.
