I never had any luck with commercial earplugs. the ones that work are uncomfortable after a few hours and the soft ones are difficult to push down far enough. The only ones that work for me are custom made by the same people that do hearing aids.

??????????????? 15 hours awake is nothing much. I regularly go without sleep for over 24 hours. In any event my direct flight to and from Thailand was 12 hours and 15 isn't much longer. The biggest problem for me was the time difference, and I learned to get over that quickly by staying awake at destination till my normal sleep time and going to sleep then. Instead of looking at it as a problem, look at it as an opportunity to watch a lot of movies or read that book you never got around to reading. My doctor won't prescribe anything to make me go to sleep as they are all dangerous.
