No, he was too befuddled to stand trial.

We all originated in the same place in Africa, so does that mean I'm relevant to Russia? Next. -
Perhaps the existing walls didn't stop anyone.

For some of us the US election is the only thing of interest in our boring lives. I've a couple of other things as well, but the US election is the only entertaining one, and it's very entertaining. Everyone squabbling over something that will make very little difference to the US, whichever wins. At best, the Ukraine war will end if Trump gets in, but it'll still be same same different POTUS for everything else whoever gets to sit in the Oval Office, IMO.

You like that, don't you. You said that to me a while back. Life not so good perhaps, but your posts have changed and not to more friendly.

Is that like the other debates?

I'm sure you know who is a big influence in Thailand. Same as in Burma.

You think India under Modi is still Democratic? Hmmmmmmm. He seems to like nasty governments eg Putin.

Is it your contention that Biden did not postpone the withdrawal? LOL. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020–2021_U.S._troop_withdrawal_from_Afghanistan The Trump Administration's decision in February 2020 was to begin the withdrawal on 1 May 2021, but the final pull-out of all US troops was delayed by the Biden Administration until September 2021, triggering the start of the collapse of the ANSF.[9] This collapse led to the Taliban takeover of Kabul on 15 August 2021.

You tell a good tale. IMO Trump had the sense to realise the real power in Afghanistan was the Taliban. Talking to the government would have been a waste of time. Biden had more than enough time to renegotiate the terms of the withdrawal and chose not to. He had no problem cancelling Trump's agreement with Mexico. Still, I know that you will keep making excuses for Biden's catastrophe.

If you think we live in a free society, I have many bridges for sale- going cheap and barely used. Try not paying taxes and see how long you stay free. If we had "free thought" there would be no place for "influencers" on "social media" which is anything but social. IMO more like mind control for the sheeple.

Tom Tugendhat Military Intervention in Illegal Migration

I already suggested how the navy could do it simply by blocking them with fast patrol boats from crossing into British waters. No need to board them or take them into custody. No doubt there will be a chorus of how that wouldn't work by those with no better ideas. Bit ironic that the navy that ruled the oceans can't find enough sailors to do much any more. Perhaps they are all on those 2 big floating targets. How the once upon a time mighty has fallen! Ozymandias by Shelley I met a traveller from an antique land, Who said—“Two vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand in the desert. . . . Near them, on the sand, Half sunk a shattered visage lies, whose frown, And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command, Tell that its sculptor well those passions read Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things, The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed; And on the pedestal, these words appear: My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings; Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair! Nothing beside remains. Round the decay Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare The lone and level sands stretch far away.” -

I wouldn't whack one on the head; I'd try to shove the stick down it's throat or poke it in it's eye. That might have the desired effect. Is it legal to carry a machete in Thailand? That'd work too. -
Israel Hamas War the Widening Middle East Conflict

Now the IDF is firing on clearly marked UN vehicles. Seems they are out of control. Time for UN member countries to ignore the US veto and impose sanctions on the israeli leadership. https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/international/world-news/idf-open-fire-at-un-humanitarian-vehicle-ten-times-claims-un-spokesperson-wfp-ops-halted-in-gaza/videoshow/112903039.cms?from=mdr IDF open fire at UN humanitarian vehicle 'ten times', claims UN Spokesperson; WFP ops halted in Gaza https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/clywnxj4dd8o The UN food agency has said it is pausing the movement of its staff in the Gaza Strip "until further notice" after its team came under fire near an Israeli checkpoint. In a statement, the World Food Programme (WFP) said the incident happened at the Wadi Gaza bridge on Tuesday evening as two of its armoured vehicles were escorting a convoy of lorries with humanitarian aid. The WFP said that while nobody was injured, one vehicle was directly hit, despite the convoy being clearly marked and "receiving multiple clearances by Israel".
