You ignore that they actually believe that if they are killed fighting the israelis they go to a better life. That prospect certainly is more attractive that the horrid reality of their life under israeli control. Young boys probably want to grow up to become martyrs after killing israelis.

If it still exists it is beyond salvage. I know where it was, but that was 15 years ago. I was unable to rescue it back then because I was overseas and the cost of transporting it was beyond me. He had abandoned it without maintenance for years ( that I was unaware of- I thought he was looking after it ) and would have required a major rebuild of the motor and body. If I tried to take revenge I'd end up in trouble with the cops.

If there is suffering and loss of life in Ukraine blame Zelensky for not negotiating when he could have- that would not have been surrender. IMO you lot that want war don't care about the guys that die in an unnecessary war. I don't understand how your lot can demand other people do the fighting and dying while all snug and safe behind your computer. If you believe in it so much, go and join the fight. If too old to actually fight they need people behind the lines too. Just do it!

Don't like it, change the constitution. You do know about the constitution, don't you? The electoral college was set up to stop states with small populations being overwhelmed by the populous states. Definitely valid today.

IMO democracy as it is does not work. I'd abolish all political parties, and have people vote for individuals. Any laws would be passed by a majority of votes of individuals, as groups would be banned.

The devil is in the detail. "Cultural subjects" covers a wide range of sins, and just whom is to decide on them? Of course any improvement will depend on the teachers, and we all know how unbiased teachers are, don't we!

Every family that ILLEGALLY crosses into the US should be deported, IMO. If some politicians are concerned about that, they should do something about deciding on genuine asylum cases while still in Mexico. IMO it's a mess because the politicians have not seriously done anything about before. If Trump changes that, good for him. I think a policy of deporting illegals is a winner in the election. Ordinary people have had enough of the chaos on the border.

Unfortunately, bad things happen to good people all the time. Life is unfair. Consider a man conscripted for an unpopular war that dies in that war. Is his fate less bad than the woman's? The solution IMO is to either move to a different state, or vote the governor out. I thought states that supported abortion are financially assisting people to get abortions if they are too poor themselves. Go fund me campaign?

I think people struggle to pay for more than "period products" so why stop there? Let's make everything free. After all we all need food and a place to live, but many struggle to afford either. I'd welcome other people paying my rent and food bill. IMO if we look at the people that "struggle to pay for period products" we will find that they can afford booze and smokes ( I'm assuming that teenagers are not expected to pay for such themselves- that's what parents are for ) and other such like unimportant things. Perhaps they should economise on luxuries to afford essentials.

As long as it's the western countries that supported the war paying that is fine- they deserve to have to pay, as they caused the damage by enabling the war to continue. The citizens also deserve to have to pay as they didn't protest about it. I doubt any other countries will pay anything, as it's not of their making.

NASA gave up that when they retired the shuttles without a replacement. Instead they asked the Russians to help them out- how did that work out? Google tells me an escape capsule is part of the station, but I guess it's not serious enough to be used.
