I can't speak for others but I can tell you 100% that in my case, things changed massively once I made the effort to learn some Thai. I speak Thai, but the women I liked all spoke English better than I spoke Thai so I rarely got to use it. It's not like I wanted to discuss philosophy or the origins of the universe with them.

Yup, the guys when they arrive are the usual brainwashed beaten down males that grew up in western countries and are amazed when they arrive in Thailand and find women that don't actually treat them badly, and are even nice to them.

Given that you asked- the Houthis have said they are only targeting israeli linked vessels, so unless they prove that isn't true, I'd tell any shipping company with israeli contacts to take the long way around Africa and let the rest carry on through Suez. Given the apparent lack of enthusiasm by other countries to join in the naval fun, I suspect they ain't buying the US claims of imminent disaster if the Houthis are left un invaded.

LOL. The Houthis are in home territory, it's a large country, and "surgical strikes" only work if the target doesn't keep moving around. Yemen isn't like Gaza where the opposition knows everything going on as it happens. They will be aware of surveillance flights/ satellites, and will be on the lookout for special forces.

Do you think that they haven't taken that into consideration? Rocket launchers are mobile for that exact reason. Where they launch from today is not where they launch from tomorrow. The military world has moved on from static gun emplacements. As for "intelligence agents", you better believe that special forces are there already. They will be expected by the Houthies, as they will have learned from the opening stages of the Afghanistan war when US special forces pin pointed taliban sites for the bombers. The problem with that is it usually only works once.

I don't live in the US and I'm angry at the governments we have. Given our governments are not IMO as bad as the US government I think I'd be really angry if I lived in the US, and not because of Trump. Christie needs to look at the system he is part of before throwing comments at Trump. Trump didn't get millions of votes because everyone was happy with Washington, he got them because the US government ( of both parties ) is apparently despised by millions. He just tapped into that anger IMO.
