Had Nixon not allowed China to look outwards, they likely would have had another civil war that may have eliminated the communist party or at least ruined China as a prospective industrial giant that now threatens all in the west.

Problem with history as it is taught doesn't ( or at least it didn't when I was in school ) deal with relevant history, so despite the war in Vietnam ( my generation's war ) we learned zero about Asia in general and Vietnam in particular. I learned more about British history than NZ history. Anything I learned about WW1 and 2 was self taught. I was good at Latin though.

There comes a time to admit that they made a mistake. The US has had plenty of practice at staying too long, or at all, and having to make a humiliating exit. Eg when they abandoned Sth Vietnam to the North despite losing 50,000 men, Iraq with many dead American and allied boys, and when they abandoned Afghanistan to the Taliban ( even donating millions of $ worth of weapons to them ). Of course in Ukraine it's dead Ukrainians and not Americans.

Too little and too late to make a difference. Two armies using more or less the same weapons and tactics. Ukraine has the more dedicated soldiers, but Russia has more cannon fodder to call on. Now that the shells are running out for Ukraine ( going to israel instead ) it's not looking good for Zelenski's prospects of the victor's laurels. General Winter has arrived.

I don't know why you keep saying silly things. The requirement to provide Secret Service protection for Trump negates any idea that Trump would spend time in jail. If he was convicted of an offense carrying jail time he would likely serve it under house arrest, but given the nonsense charges against him a conviction not overturned on appeal would IMO be unlikely to result in incarceration, but at most a fine and possibly a suspended prison sentence.

Does anyone on the planet actually believe that lie? 10,000 non combatants dead and many thousand more wounded says otherwise. His "victory" is over the bodies of many many thousands of non combatants. Apparently Eliyahu thinks 10 year old kids are terrorists as there have been quite a lot of them ( and younger ) killed and missing ( code for buried in the rubble of their homes ). More than 3,000 apparently.
