Do you find women boring after a while?
thaibeachlovers replied to bignok's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I don't know any men that are into sports. They are the most boring humans on the planet, IMO. The ones I do visit never talk about sport. -

Do you find men boring after a while? Sounds like a personal problem. -
Thai women kissing and foreplay
thaibeachlovers replied to kingstonkid's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
IMO you missed the best part of making love, as distinct from just shagging. I've always loved a good long snogging session, and in my youth that was all I got as good girls didn't without a ring and I only knew good girls. -
Thai women kissing and foreplay
thaibeachlovers replied to kingstonkid's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Are you talking about bar girls or not bar girls? Prostitutes often won't with customers, though that isn't universal. I've been with Thai girls that kiss and those that don't. All women are different. I like to cuddle while sleeping but some won't. My wife did, which was one thing that attracted me to her. -
Life is too short to be serious on everything, and IMO the Pub is too restricted, and more discussion of the sort of silly things one might say in a real pub allowed. The Lounge is already restricted, but subject to the same level of moderation as other subforums, so not used as it should be, with topics that should be on the Pub instead. My main problem is that abuse is too often allowed to stay. I've even reported abuse that was allowed to remain. Another problem is that some posters make it about other posters, IMO baiting them, to try and get them suspended.

I think they are just happy to have posters at all. I've seen many many good posters leave the forum for reasons I can't discuss. For those very reasons I've had a love hate relationship with TVF/AN and come close to leaving a few times myself. I'm still here, as it's US election time, so the fun is about to start, but before that I barely posted at all for a long time.

I had lots of conversations with educated ( intelligent ) women of many races, but they had nothing more intelligent to say than an educated man -

Putting an annoying and stupid flashing thing on the thread doesn't win your case. -
Hezbollah warns of regional war if Gaza bombing goes on
thaibeachlovers replied to CharlieH's topic in The War in Israel
Seems that the US gave too many air defense missiles to israel. Looks like they may need to get some back. https://www.rudaw.net/english/kurdistan/07112023 According to the Pentagon spokesman, a total of 45 US personnel were injured in the attacks, all of them prior to the US retaliatory strikes on facilities used by groups affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Syria on October 26. The attacks on US bases in Iraq and Syria were claimed by Iran-backed militias such as the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, a network of shadow Iraqi militia groups affiliated with the IRGC. https://www.wsj.com/livecoverage/israel-hamas-war-gaza-strip-2023-11-02/card/armed-drone-hit-u-s-barracks-in-iraq-failed-to-detonate-1AxAfJu5FZLOaQ87FQln A drone laden with explosives believed to have been launched by an Iranian-backed militia crashed into the upper floor of a U.S. barracks at a base in Iraq but failed to detonate, U.S. officials said, underscoring the risks to U.S. forces in the Middle East during Israel’s war on Hamas. Had the drone exploded at Erbil air base on Oct. 25, it likely would have injured or killed U.S. troops, defense officials said. There were no reports of injuries. -
If the tank is for drinking water you need a filter after the tank as well, or only after the tank. If the tank is for washing as well, have a dedicated tap with a filter and not necessarily before the tank, though it wouldn't hurt to have both.

The Met Police WON'T ban Poppy Day pro-Palestine rally
thaibeachlovers replied to CharlieH's topic in World News
Winston made a lot of mistakes, as any Kiwi that knows about WW2 history will attest. However, by keeping Britain from being conquered by the Germans he can be forgiven them. Unfortunately for Winnie, they didn't want him as PM after. -

Even cops are people and when they see what is going on in Palestine they react like people that don't like what they see. Good for them. -
I feel sorry for him. I can see in his face when he says the words given to him that he likely doesn't believe them, and he is looking like a fool. Nevertheless, he has to go out and say the words. He reminds me of the unfortunate General Powell and his performance to the UN as to the rational for the invasion of Iraq. I suspect Blinken will suffer the same fate.

Hamas fighters have no uniform, they have no structure, they are a collection of men that want to kill israelis armed with rifles and RPGs. They have no artillery, no medical corps, no catering corps, no armoured vehicles, no military police, no helicopters, no heavy weapons. They have no parades, no medals. Strange sort of army then. Short of extermination of every Palestinian, the resistance will live on under occupation and oppression, whatever it is called. The dead, the dying, those trapped under the rubble will never leave the north and there is no safety in the south. There is no safety anywhere in Gaza. One wonders where some get their information from. Hatred for israelis grows every day the bombing and the seige continue. Millions of Palestinians live outside Palestine, safe from israeli bombs. They will never forget. No Muslim will forget. No one that looks on in horror at the israeli massacre will forget. The world is watching. The world is starting to react, and not for israel.

Had Ukraine negotiated would Putin have invaded? Please don't give me one of your usual talking points, as I will just ignore it, and stop making me the topic as I'm not. It's getting boring.

The US is quietly arming Taiwan to the teeth
thaibeachlovers replied to Social Media's topic in World News
I don't like Chinese expansion in the Pacific. I don't like what they are doing to Tibet. I don't like what they are doing to the Uighurs. So, basically I'm not a fan of the CCP. Ukraine didn't have to happen, so the only side I have in that conflict is the dead that didn't need to die. -
You are apparently not aware of forum rule 7. My bolding. 7. Do not quote more than three multiple nested quotes. Only quote the person you are replying to, and only quote the relevant section that you are discussing. Have a nice day.

Hmmm Adding 2 + 2 and coming up with 22. Please don't try to tell me what I perceive unless I state it. I certainly care about the dead that didn't have to die. Too many boys died to make the 1% richer through war already. We don't need more. I don't care so much about which flag flies over a country far far away.
-
No. The other eastern non NATO countries you reference. They don't need Americans "liberating" them and leaving their countries destroyed and economies ruined.
-
You dreamer you. Thanks for the humorous post.

Unlike you I'm not discussing what "might have been" and "wouldn't it be great if such and such hadn't happened". I'm discussing what has happened and what needs to be done to end it. Ukraine had the opportunity to save all the lives by negotiating, but Zelensky apparently preferred death and destruction. And ignore the implications and consequences of allowing a powerful, aggressive, expansionist state to do what it likes in the region unopposed. Only in non NATO countries and Europe has been fighting for thousands of years, and will continue to do so. It's in their nature. Wasn't it true after WW2 that a powerful, aggressive, expansionist state did what it liked in the region, and despite being at their highest military power, the western allies did nothing to help the countries being taken over by the Soviets? So, don't tell me that we have to have WW3 to save them now.

"War Is A Racket" For These 25 'Defense' Companies
thaibeachlovers replied to dhupverg's topic in The War in Ukraine
Well said. Seems some are so blinded to the reality of Ukrainian corruption that they seem to think this is a war in which the good elves are fighting the orcs for real. Meanwhile the 1% keep minting it which ever side wins. -
As heard on Al Jazeera, the new buzz word is a "humanitarian pause" to allow a trickle of aid into Gaza before continuing to blow the Gazan's up. Apparently the israelis have agreed to that, but Biden must have been putting a lot of pressure on netanyahu to get even that. https://www.washingtonpost.com/national/2023/11/09/israel-hamas-war-live-updates-11-09-2023/8b0a6d66-7ec3-11ee-b5cc-66c30a3bbb91_story.html U.S. President Joe Biden’s administration says Israel will allow a 4-hour humanitarian pause each day in combat operations in northern Gaza to allow civilians to flee to the south, starting on Thursday. Also seen on Al Jazeera is Macron IMO trying to walk back his all in gung ho meeting with netanyahu by making a speech about how Palestinian civilians must be protected. Perhaps 3,000 dead children is finally making a difference. https://www.washingtonpost.com/national/2023/11/09/israel-hamas-war-live-updates-11-09-2023/8b0a6d66-7ec3-11ee-b5cc-66c30a3bbb91_story.html In Europe, French President Emmanuel Macron has opened a Gaza aid conference with an appeal for Israel to protect civilians, saying that “all lives have equal worth” and that fighting terrorism “can never be carried out without rules.” Meanwhile in the West Bank there is apparently a big fight going on in a refugee camp. Seems the Palestinians have had enough of the raids that leave destruction and death behind and are fighting back. Looks like the Americans will have to send a few more bombs if the plan is to extend the bombing to the West Bank as well. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/11/9/deadly-assault-on-jenin-refugee-camp-as-west-bank-raids-intensify Intense fighting was reported in the camp on Thursday. Black smoke was seen rising over the city amid multiple explosions and gunfire. Further afield, the war is now being exported to Iraq and Syria, with attacks on American bases. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/us-targets-iraq-syria-attacked-10-times-since-thursday-rcna123831 There have been at least 38 attacks against bases with U.S. personnel since Oct. 17. Three defense officials say most of the weekend attacks came via one-way drones and rockets. Looks like those US aircraft carriers may be getting the chance to show their stuff, and the 1% must be wetting themselves at the prospect of even more weapon sales. Are US National Guard members worrying that they may be returning to the warm countries pretty soon? Biden may get the chance to have his very own war!
