  1. That seems to be the cheese, thanks. I remember Bad to the bone playing on the soundtrack for that scene. https://www.britishhorrorfilms.co.uk/slayground The film begins in middle America - all V8 engines, radios playing "Bad To The Bone" and women in yellow ankle warmers. After picking up one of the aforementioned ankle warmer wearers, a bloke finds that he's got more than he's bargained for. "I bet you're all action…" she drawls. "Why don't you lay back and find out?" he wittily counters, before she shoots him dead.
  2. He's been to LOS many times ( it's in the OP ). He probably knows as much as he needs to.
  3. Those unable to read continue to populate this thread so I think I'll leave it to them to post without my input.
  4. God isn't a human so isn't a "him", and God can do anything, including exterminating a pesky species that behaves badly. The next big asteroid might not miss.
  5. IMO won't be many smiles for the first one by any hetero farang that gets her bikini bottom off.
  6. It really was "the land of smiles" but that was long ago, when I first arrived. Since those golden days, Thailand has seen many problems and the smile has vanished for the most part, except when scoring large off some tourist sucker.
  7. What's wrong with these warmongers that they think a war in a foreign country is more important than any of the myriad problems afflicting the EU, such as the illegal immigration chaos in the Mediterranean?
  8. So, stick that in your pipes, all the warmongers in congress. Score for those not willing to give a blank cheque to enrich the military industrial complex. Now it will have to be debated as a stand alone bill, as it should always have been.
  9. More than 11 million. They murdered more people that were not Jews, for a total of 17 million. People forget or don't know that the Nazis targeted other opposition groups than Jews. However, some posters should be careful of trying to make an equivalence between those that are opposed to mass immigration and the Nazis. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holocaust_victims According to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM), the Holocaust was "the systematic, bureaucratic, state-sponsored persecution and murder of six million Jewish men, women and children by the Nazi regime and its collaborators". In addition, 11 million members of other groups were murdered during the "era of the Holocaust".
  10. Military personnel are not supposed to get embroiled in politics and unless he can provide actual proof Trump wants troops to swear to him personally ( as with Hitler ) he should keep his yap closed. Good riddance I say.
  11. As always, in your opinion, unless you are actually psychic. I'll be surprised if Biden lasts till the election though, and I'm hoping Trump bows out, so with any luck it'll be neither of them.
  12. No. I asked how many living with you. I have nothing against immigrants per se, just ones that have no cultural affinity for the country they want to live in and change to a replica of the <deleted> they came from. Perhaps they could stop overpopulating their own countries and turning them into <deleted>, then they might not need to leave and go live somewhere else.
  13. I disagree on both counts.
  14. and yet, you are willing to let Putin butcher Ukrainians unimpeded. Prove that. Had they negotiated likely no lives lost, Ukraine would not be wrecked and the west would not be pouring money into an IMO unwinnable war. In the end Ukraine will, IMO, be forced to negotiate when western countries are no longer going to keep pouring the money in. Looks like the US is getting a bit tired of it. So what will they have gained, other than a lot of weeping wives and children, and a wrecked country? However, keep thinking Ukraine can win, and keep working to pay tax to send there by all means.
  15. Could be that those that sought to profit from the return of the horde will be out of pocket. Could be the best thing that happened to LOS though, as IMO the horde was destroying Thailand as a nice place to live.
  16. Where did I say "knowingly unprepared"? If you are going to quote me, perhaps you could stop inventing things I never said. Considering I never heard of her, why should I believe anything she says? I've had more than enough of so called experts that are later proven to be talking through their hats- eg weapons of mass destruction in a previous conflict, and a certain general that ended up with a great deal of egg on face. BTW, said general sort of vanished following that debacle.
  17. Perhaps back then there was enough money to do so, but now the cupboard is bare and I for one oppose borrowing money to investigate things that will make zero difference to people's lives.
  18. Seems that it depends on the focus of the inquiry as to how relevant the evidence is. When it was a different POTUS the same posters apparently claimed that everything said was gospel.
  19. Unfortunately, seems that some on here only see life that conforms to earth's environment as "life".
  20. Why did you quote me when you said absolutely nothing relevant to my post? Deflecting much?
  21. and having found it, so what? Unless found life has the ability to travel faster than the speed of light, they are going to be in a galaxy far far away, probably for as long as mankind survives.
  22. Correct. I've posted before that "life" might be silicone based, or just a cloud of intelligent gas. It might even be mobile vegetation, or algae. BTW, looking at what is going on with the human race now, one sometimes wonders if intelligent life exists on planet earth.
  23. I know that, which is why I'd never seriously imagine that I could make a successful case against a woman in court. Emotional scarring is apparently only significant if a woman suffers them.
