As to whether it is man made or not, or the speed of change, I just don't care as IMO nothing we can do will make any difference. The CO2 already in the atmosphere isn't going away any time soon, so whatever effect it has is going to continue. BTW did you know that the biggest amount of greenhouse gas is water vapour? However they can't tax that so CO2 has to suffice for the IMO biggest con of my lifetime. There are 8 billion ( and rising fast ) people on the planet- how many of them are going to use an EV, LOL. If governments actually cared, they'd be building nuclear power plants to replace oil fired power stations, but they are not, and even NZ has a whacking great fossil fuel powered station supplying Auckland. I don't recall ever using the word "mitigation"- you are making that up. What I actually said was we should learn to live with it, and that doesn't mean solar panels or windmills, though I have nothing against solar panels per se. In future, please try to reply based on what I actually say. It'll save me from having to keep correcting you.

IMO meaningless. Only thing that counts is actions other than imposing as many taxes as possible. Other than that, I see nothing being done or promoted that is affordable, acceptable and effective. If governments actually believed it, would they allow Brazil to destroy the Amazonian rain forest?

What I know is that a few windmills and EVs are not going to make any difference. I don't need a science degree to know that a lot of the stuff spouted is nothing to do with climate, and everything to do with taxes and money.

I doubt that Biden will withdraw before the election as Harris has as much chance of winning as I would. IMO the plan is to get them elected and then, after a while, Biden has to retire, leaving her the big chair. If they couldn't get hillary elected they are IMO going to get a woman POTUS somehow.

The US has had no trouble stopping support before eg when it stopped supporting South Vietnam and let the north have it, when it abandoned Afghanistan and let the Taliban have it etc. How much was it's "support" worth for Afghan women? In any event, if China were to invade, Australia and NZ would need more than financial support or some old cluster bombs.
