As long as I wasn't in a western country ( where the law probably says she gets half ) why would I give her anything? If I was paying her for her body she already gets paid, and if she actually loved me ( ) I'd just buy her stuff and she'd get to live in a better house with a better lifestyle. Hmmmm. I see a lot of "we must do something" but not much in the way of "how to". Perhaps you read different threads than I. I've made more "how to" suggestions than the posters saying we must do something. PS, the planet will be fine, but humanity not so and IMO there is no way to actually change climate, no matter how many windmills they put up. No need to do that. I used the local bus to get to/ from and hired a taxi when there to go up to the Golden Triangle place and back. I don't like being told where to go and for how long I can stay.

Far as I see, the guys with the least morals get the money, the power and the best looking women. We with morals are the losers, IMO. Why so fixated on age? Shouldn't we be looking for the best person to be with, PERIOD? If a legal age person is prepared to be with someone that is older, so what? Why should Hugh Heffner or Mick Jagger be the ones to get the hot women, and not us? I was brought up with morals, and chose to be so, but if I had a younger woman as a wife, that's nobody's business except hers and mine.

LOL. Why should intelligent life ( or any sort of life ) require Earth like conditions? Life could be something completely unknown to us. Also, just because a planet has Earth like conditions does not mean it will have life as we know it to be.

Plenty of lakes/ reservoirs with houseboats in the north. Queen Sirikit reservoir has them.

I lived in several countries, and on balance Thailand was the best. Singapore used to be the best till it went super affluent and sterile. When they closed Bugis street as a night spot it was the end of any fun in that place, IMO. England/ London- too wet, too cold, too dirty, too crowded, lacking a fun vibe. Saudi- less said the better. Ireland- too wet, too cold. Antarctica- ( not a country- I know that ) great place to live, but only if one has a job. No rentals or retirement villages down there. Thailand- hot all year round, cheap, interesting, great scenery, nice beaches ( away from the tourist places ), best fun vibe of any country I've been in, pretty girls that don't think "feminine" is a bad word. What's not too love?

Tha Ton is lovely. I stayed in a quiet place alongside the river, which was true bliss. I first went there on a tour with Track of the Tiger in the 90s and we had lunch in a delightful hotel. I went back especially to visit that hotel about 20 years later, but was sad to see it had been replaced by a cookie cutter concrete building. Lovely temple on top of the hill, and pleasant restaurants in abundence. Fang, didn't even stop there.
