  1. Guess you missed the bit where I suggested using solar on land. Bit difficult using solar on a submarine, but not many submarines on land. Again, I'm not talking about now.
  2. I guess you missed my response to the title where I said ( words to the effect of ) it's not worth getting stressed about, IMO. Next.
  3. I used to dream of naked Filipino girls, but now it's girls that are made by AI. Waaaay more beautiful than any real girl that walked on the planet. Sadly they only exist as images on the internet at this point in time.
  4. I never said it would kill a healthy person. Sugar is the worst "food" possible, but I ate it in great quantities most of my life and I'm still here ( just not eating sugar any more ).
  5. One needs to understand why people support Trump but wouldn't want to have him in their house. Can't say more than that as would be political.
  6. One of the best dramas that was ever shown on British TV was "Edge of Darkness" with Bob Peck ( not the American remake, which was garbage ) in 1985. I doubt anything that good will ever be seen on tv again.
  7. Not just in the UK. TV in NZ has become so appallingly woke and humourless that I will not watch any program made in NZ. Used to be some excellent shows back in the 70s, but that was long ago. Also, the ads are so frequent and annoying that even if it's a movie I won't waste my time with NZ TV. At least the BBC didn't have ads when I was living in London, and did have repeats of great shows.
  8. LOL. That reminds me of the second time I had a BG for a few days on holiday. On the first morning after she asked me to take her back to my country. After 3 days of that, I just left and went back to Bkk, as she'd probably have tracked me down if I stayed in Phuket.
  9. They sound like almost every bargirl I "went out" with. One of them had a very small tattoo.
  10. Rubbish. “snuggling”/“touching,” is IMO a precursor to something more intimate, and by doing that you are leading those women into thinking there is something there. Then you are surprised that they say “will I see you tomorrow”. Do you not think your actions through and how it appears to them? BTW, if I invited a girl out for a platonic date I'd never have expected "snuggling" to be part of it. If I “snuggled”, I'd be hoping it would lead to something more intimate.
  11. and I disagree with you on almost everything. This is a forum for opinions, not a NOAA conference. Perhaps stop trying to score points against me and lighten up.
  12. That's a better way of doing it than what is apparently the norm. However, many people drive cars well over 8 years old. My last car was over 30 years old before I had to stop using it. I'm not going to pay large for a car that needs expensive batteries replaced and apparently not many others do either. Unless a better way can be found, seems like there will be a mountain of battery cars that are unwanted heading for landfill.
  13. Everything gets cheaper the more it is available. I'm not talking about now. How about using solar power on sea water? BTW did you know that nuclear submarines use sea water to produce O2? No other way to stay submerged for months.
  14. The more popular something is, the less interest I have in it. When I think about popularity and "social media", lemmings comes to my mind.
  15. Yeah. People have to start realising that nature doesn't care about us humans. If we are bad guests on planet Earth, we are going to be shown the exit, and IMO we have been very, very bad guests, <deleted> in our nest.
  16. Bread isn't good for any of us, or rather gluten is bad. Along with sugar, if one wishes to eat healthy, IMO give up gluten containing food. https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/is-gluten-bad#gluten Gluten proteins are highly resistant to protease enzymes that break down proteins in your digestive tract.
  17. If I have 2 1/2 hours to spare, I'll watch a movie, or do something useful, but thanks for the suggestion. Watching talking heads is just too boring for me now, and I usually disagree with some or all of what they are talking about, so get "dissatisfied". I've tried watching some such, but usually turn off the tv as I can't stand it any more. Sometimes I wish there were an app that would slap people talking rubbish on tv.
  18. You obviously have more intimate knowledge about female attire than I, so thanks for educating me on that.
  19. Doubt that. I have as much to do as I want, and most IMO would be like that. Of course, it's different in LOS.
  20. Amazing, not really. When Big Brother was a "thing" on tv, they'd keep showing it when they were all asleep. NB I would never ever actually turn on such a nauseatingly banal show, but it was on in a shop window and I was waiting for a bus at the time.
  21. Who among us has 4 hours to watch talking heads? Life is too short for myself to do that. Must be a lot of people out there without a life, IMO.
  22. How about when you want to travel from Chiang Rai to the Gulf islands and back. Plenty of charging points along the way are there? Got plenty of time to waste while it's being charged? Of course one could go for this option. Picture from google images.
  23. Good luck when you need to get a new battery.
  24. Can you buy a hydrogen car anywhere? Not talking about now. I'm saying what they should be investing in. If hydrogen was actually taken seriously it would probably make every electric car obsolete and of no value. No need to invest in polluting power stations to charge millions of electric cars- delivered to point of sale just like CNG used to be in NZ when many cars were dual fuel.
