Agree 100%, especially the bit about them making a gigantic political mistake. IMO their desire to remove Trump from 2024 is so strong they were blind to the inevitable consequences. I imagine they are trying to find a way to mitigate the unintended consequences, but IMO the longer it goes on without any indictment, the worse it gets for them. This is probably going to be a large part of the GOP election strategy up to the mid terms, and given to them on a plate.

Of course they are, till they are identified, and then they cease to be unidentified.

You are, of course, welcome to your opinion, but while that question is entirely valid, it's equally valid to ask that if there is no creator, where did all the material for the universe come from? Did it just magically appear from nothing? I believe science would disagree that something can come from nothing. -

I think you said you use solar. How long will it take to make it worth while ie how long till the savings on electricity bills has paid off the set up? -

God knows that I've tried to stop posting on this forum, but something about it keeps sucking me back in, just when I thought I'd escaped. -
Find a better place with the same availablity of attractive young women at the same price and I'm sure the folk will flock there instead. I never though Thailand was "paradise" in reality, given the broken infrastructure and general chaos, but it was paradise in comparison to any other country I'd been to, of which there have been many.

I suspect that if they delay too long, once the GOP takes the house back in November, the "inquiry" will quietly fade away. I don't envy whoever has to make the decision, given the potential political implications. Charge him before the elections and the inevitable accusations of politicking will arise; wait till after the elections and potentially lose the opportunity to disqualify the Donald from running in 2024.

I would be extremely surprised if Biden was not consulted about the Mar a Lago raid prior to it happening, given the political uproar that should have been obvious was going to ( and has happened ) occur. Raiding a former president for anything would, IMO, require consent from the highest political circles. However, I think whoever authorized it misread the political scene, and the consequences caught them by surprise. If nothing else, it has apparently given Trump fresh ammunition with which to energise his base against the establishment.

But but but, according to some posters he's guilty, so why wait? Walker88 Posted Sunday at 11:43 PM on this thread 45 broke the law. Guilty just by possession. If he used them, or intended to use them for personal gain, that is 'conspiracy to commit espionage', is a capital offense, and he could (should) be executed.

I don't know what country you thought was Thailand, but in my EXPERIENCE, the real Thailand is nothing like that. -

We don't need fighter planes, but we do need anti ship and anti air missiles, and I very much doubt we have enough to ward off any nation that decides they need our land to grow food for their immense population. The NZ military has never been "bloated", and even during Vietnam was tiny compared to other western nations. I WAS in the NZ military for many years. If we think we can depend on America to protect us indefinitely, we haven't learned anything from history. I doubt the Australians could protect us on their own, and why should they if we can't be bothered to have a decent military of our own? While the military have always been used for civil disaster relief, their real job is killing the enemy, not as a social service. If they can't kill the enemy because they don't have the means to do so, change the name to NZ disaster relief organisation, and be done with protecting ourselves from an invader.
