  1. No guarantees in life. I knew a guy that married a girl as good looking as that. She became fat, unpleasant and divorced.
  2. Some of them start taking contraceptive pills when quite young. The reason they are so pushy to get customers is, IMO, because they need to pay for the surgeries. Malibu show in Pattaya had a lot of ladyboys dancing and one of the best looking had a very male voice, though some are not noticeably male.
  3. Seriously? I went there many times early 90s and definitely no night market as it became later. When the bag shops outnumbered the gogos I figured it was time to abandon the place. I always went once a trip to remind myself why I didn't go there any more. There may have been a night market, but it wasn't very large or I'd have noticed it.
  4. Luckily for those of us not interested in ladyboys most preferred the large size, which did require silicone. That made them pretty distinctive.
  5. Definitely there in early 90s. For sure ladyboys in Nana, though mostly restricted to "their" gogos of which there were about 4 last time I went. Unfortunately, IMO Pattaya gogos not as good as those in Nana, so didn't frequent them, except SuperBaby before it closed. Best lookers of any gogo, decent music. Only problem was the high spending Asians that also frequented the place that made it too expensive for me to take any out.
  6. I did lots of work for the family houses. Laid concrete patio tiles, erected security fences and shade cloth covers, did loads of electrical stuff, plumbing, etc. I definitely wasn't a scrounger in the relationship. I was planning to start big vege gardens, but the relationship ended before I could.
  7. Joining the services was the best thing I ever did. Came out with a trade and an appetite for travel. Pity about the <deleted> guys that run it. It could have been so much better and the senior NCO bullies were pretty bad.
  8. They've been there as long as I can remember. I hated the obstacle course market. There was one gogo that was pretty good with 50/50 girls and ladyboys. Can't remember the name. In the end the hassle of getting from the Skytrain to and from the street put me off going at all and I stuck with Nana. No regrets.
  9. The way we are overpopulating, destroying the environment and polluting the planet I think humanity is doomed anyway, even if WW3 doesn't happen.
  10. Barnsley, excellent choice!
  11. You think that is possible without having your own country blown off the face of the earth? At least it'll solve the overpopulation problem.
  12. Was "Lucky Lukes" bar across from Lucky Stars or was that a later name for Lucky Stars? Getting forgetful in my old age.
  13. Never saw the attraction in the Thermae. Too crowded, too loud to have a proper conversation and too dark to get a good look at a prospective. The first version of Thermae was supposed to be better, but I unfortunately missed that. Hollywood Royale in Nana was the cheese for me till after dawn ( none of those silly closing times there ). Anyone know if the Eden Club is still operating? That was an experience to remember.
  14. Back in the mid 90s the Hooter girls in the photo would not have been remarkable in a Nana Gogo. Sadly everything was better in LOS in the 90s than now.
  15. I agree for the most part except that women regardless of whether satisfying her partner or not EXPECT him to keep his side of the marital contract. Courts seem to agree with that viewpoint. IMO the greatest atrocity is women that deny husband sex and even companionship, but sue for divorce when he looks elsewhere for those.
  16. I have a third category- those that do not try to be a better person but live life without a thought for others. Those seem to be in the ascendancy where I live.
  17. I doubt we can ever "find ourself" as life is constantly changing us. IMO the best we can do is to come to terms with the fact that life is not perfect and we are likewise.
  18. It's funny but I thought sex was part of a long term relationship and not something one had to negotiate before marriage. It's so important that one isn't married unless the marriage is consummated. No nookie can get marriage annulled. Fact of life that most men want sex. Women that get married and deny sex are not fulfilling their side of the relationship. End of.
  19. I doubt most women stop after 30 years, but a lot sooner, like 25 years or less. In my case the first partner stopped after 1 year and my wife after 2 years. I left both. After the first attrocity it was better not having a GF at all and using P4P. For the second attrocity, I should have known better and not got married at all. I admit it I was stupid and let the little head give me illusions of sex on tap the rest of my life. I learned that lesson well, for sure.
  20. World is so overpopulated that I doubt any island that can support life is "deserted" any more. Best bet is some remote place in a country one can live in legally long time. Plenty of such in LOS. Some of the Gulf coast has few people living on it.
  21. Cheaper than western countries and I always hated going to immigration; so much so that I paid an agent to do it for me. Never had a problem with the cops but only because I did nothing for them to notice me.
  22. There's something that all those guys with "nothing to do" can do. Learn to cook- make the breakfast, lunch and dinner.
  23. A lot of American movies have husbands that get it so rarely that when she indicates he can tonight he lights up like a lighthouse bulb. While movies are not real life, they often have some basis in reality.
  24. Don't understand how any guy with a modicum of energy can "do nothing". I was retired in LOS and never had "nothing to do". Up to the guy I guess, but don't bitch about "nothing to do" when there is a world of things to do in LOS and many of them cost little to nothing to do.
  25. Do you not believe that sex ( at least for men ) is something that should be part of a long term relationship? Why else would most men get married?
