I don't think they care about anything that isn't supporting their opinion and western propaganda. They keep repeating the same things as if that will make it true, like the Russians economy is doomed, LOL. Don't hear much about how Russia is running out of munitions though- that used to be the mantra a while back.

Worse things happened to more innocent children under ISIS. The world is not a playground for silly kids, and if it turns out badly for her she won't be alone in her misery. If she is an example for other silly children to think twice before going off to support vile human beings, at least she will have achieved some good. Why should she not be given a trial? Because, IMO, she isn't worth it. She wasn't conscripted, she wasn't kidnapped and trafficked out of the country, she left voluntarily and made her bed. Now she gets to lie in it. If they want to give someone a trial, there's a few kiddy groomers at loose in the UK, so I'm led to believe. Give them a trial.

In western propaganda anything is possible, but one wonders about those that believe it. If the Russians don't have any ammunition they can surely defeat NATO with those Chinese shovels.

When they find out it's nothing like back home, is when the problems start. How many times have farangs on here wanted them to be like the people in the place they didn't want to live in? If I had to work like a dog for 9,000 baht a month, I'd probably want to go where I could earn more too ( actually I did- my wages sucked so I worked in Saudi ), but that isn't what we are discussing. We are discussing Thai character, and I prefer Thai over western.Something to do with being happier and less greedy.

Again, I never experienced anything like you describe. To survive in LOS, accept and adapt. They are not like western people and thank goodness they ain't.

I never had anything like the problems you had, so I disagree with your opinion of Thai people.I'd rather live in LOS than in the West. Western people are stressed and angry, and service is hard to find in any large store.

You nailed it. Some are just not mentally equipped to live in LOS. A lot of tolerance is required to get the most from Thailand.

Completely different experience to mine. BTW, I don't believe you have personal experience with a "substantial part of the population", given how many million of them there are. I get the feeling that those that complain live in touristed places. Away from such and horrid cities like Bkk the people are usually lovely to deal with. Wonderful shop keepers in the village- so helpful.

Absolutely. The West sucks. Almost impossible to find someone to help when one has a problem- too greedy to hire enough staff. I sometimes use one of those huge Home Depot type places and only 2 checkout staff. Have to q for ages.
