Maybe he should have refused to take the bus from the depot in the first place ?
What, exactly, does common sense & logic have to do with this ?

No, not typos.
You don't think you get top end luxury with premium amounts of space and a low density of rooms to resort size for Bt1000 a day do you ?
I don't fly economy either but who would if you had the choice ?
I rarely stay @ 1,000 baht accommodation & usually fly business when it's available. However I'm a bit surprised that someone with your budget would be seeking advice from us mere plebs on TV.
You wanna adopt a granddad ?

We've been looking at this one but I still need a bit of convincing that Bt30-35,000 per night is acceptable.
I discounted another Soneva hotel which looks fantastic but reports from guests of massages at Bt10/15,000 for an hour or two plus other charges which bear no credible link to reality put me off. Dropping Bt10/15k for a half/day in the spa is fine but it would piss me off if they wanted Bt30k for instance.
30,000 baht per night ! 15,000 baht for 1/2 day spa ! Are they typos or are you smoking some really good shit ?

1,000 baht fine. Bet he's pissed off with that.

Seeing you know of the issue, ever thought of taking a stroll & collecting your mail ?
Just a thought.

Did you get a receipt for the 400 baht ?

Welcome aboard Marttram.
No problem at all. I always bring in similar product when I return. As I've said several times, you could bring a body through customs, as long as you don't declare it.

Is Canada part of America?
Yes, so is Mexico. There are 2 Americas. North & South. America is a continent, not a country.
It's amazing how many refer to the USA as America.

Funny countries don't like lights on in daylight. Cars and bikes all have daylight running lights in NA. I just makes you more visable. I don't understand the reason that they have to be off. Maybe someone can enlighten me.
I think you know the answer ... " Funny countries "

To be safe, make sure you have good insurance. With evacuation if possible.
I doubt if insurance will make you any safer. It may make life more manageable after an accident though.

Ever thought of trying Mr Google ?

NA = North America. So could be Canada, USA or Mexico ?

Doesn't it all depend on how much you want the article ?

My mother has been sending packages here for over 30 years and I've never once had to pay customs anything.
She used to send all my kids comics and presents at least every month. Also, birthdays and Xmas.
But, this year she has said it is too expensive to send stuff and is going to stop in the future.
Would you be good enough to explain what your dear ol mum's expense of sending your kids gifts has to do with the OP ? Just wondering.

Macahoom if you think you are funny I can tell you that you are not. Singapore is closer to equator but they bring a few ships with xmas trees every year.
Rubbish ! A few ship loads of Christmas trees. More like a container of said trees, on one or possibly 2 ships.
Oh, I think it was pretty funny.
