  1. He will produce the evidence, like he produced his tax returns. 🤣 In the end if he is not elected president again, he will claim poor health ,take a plea deal and fade to obscurity, People like him don't go to jail.
  2. Not stupid, It take a particular personality to do what we have done. For most humans the fear of loss of what they have, is much greater than the desire for gain, It takes a risk tolerant personality to pick up and move to a foreign country. Most older people are for the most part risk averse
  3. Just as soon as all deciase and dust is removed from thailand. I have never seen that, perhaps you have pirate breath.
  4. I like to agree with you, but a 74% approval rate is simply unrealistic for any president.
  5. I voted for Biden . But now he has served his function as a transitional from trump preside . and needs to retire. But power is difficult to give up. He has a few coals in the fire who is convinced he needs to stay in powered to maintain hot, and thinks that others could not or would not do what needs to be done. Hubris!! always used by everyone to justify not giving up the elixir of power.
  6. You don't get , and stay at that level of the game without carrying sharp knives. But as it concerns this thread of conversation, I was responding to a post that made the assertion that Srettha was not neutral because he was meeting with Putin. and my response was to the affect, that the opposite was true. You are not neutral If you only meet with one side. I made no value judgments , I simply made a factual statement. I was actually very surprised by the reaction. It was those who reacted that made value judgments, or implied that Srettha should had made a value judgment and not meet with Putin. But if he had made that judgment then he would had not been neutral in fact he would had been partial. There is an argument that Srettha should had been partial, and had picked a side but that's a different argument. As the world is changing form a Unipolar world buck to a Bipolar world and maybe a Multipolar world, all these great powers are jockeying to carve spheres of influence, countries such as Thailand , Australia etc have to play a fine balancing act to see how things play out. There are many experts that predict there will be a war between China and the US in 2027, google it. That is three years from now!! never mind TMAs and foreign income taxations. If the above is true, How is that going to affect us?
  7. Isn't that what the other side in a war always say about the other side?
  8. I think many confuse netrality with aligning with one side. Why should the PM of Thailand visit with Biden but not Putin? I know, I know , Putin has Ukrainian blood on his hands where where The US has not invaded anyone lately.
  9. I love it when someone sends me a post "Welcome to my ignore list" 🤣 If they wanted to ignore me, they would had simply ignored me . It is the definition of "Ignore" But they don't want to ignore me, they want to punish me and what good is punishment if the victim does not even know he/she is being punished?🤣 I propose that if one is in a ignore list and they attempt to communicate with such person their screen starts flashing red, a Klaxon sound blares out of their device speaker ,alternating with a lost in space robot image running around their screen , waving its arms and screaming Danger !!, Danger !!. As you can see , this is no half baked idea, I have obvious put a lot of thought into this. Now please excuse me as I go out and get a life.🥸
  10. Lazada has an option for those who don't read Thai (top right) to switch to English. The option is in Thai ????????
  11. Actuary Yes!! Minister Srettha Thavisin met US President Joe Biden in New York. If neutral. why not meet with the other side?
  12. and 2% said they like hard boiled eggs "I will take the money but I will not spend it " I guess we know who said that.
  13. Obviously I ment BEV, what were we talking about Battery absent Vehicles ? Also congratulations are in order on your Humoractomy, it seems the operation was a success.
  14. No I Meant Battery Absurd Vehicles (BAV) Get your head in the game will you? It all o started by the big Fossil fuel industry companies , like Honda and Toyota. I am surprised it has any, Do they put the cart before the horse in the UK? Where I come from, first you get a horse and then perhaps you get a cart perhaps you don't. Same with FCEV
  15. The problem with BAVs is that batteries are heavy , a BAV is twice as heavy as a FCAV. So a significant percentage of the energy goes toward deriving around batteries, a plus is that they are bottom heavy, have a low CG and consequently handle well.. I have nothing against BAV , I will probably get one in the next couple of years ICE is out, but IMO they are a transitional technology while we develop a hydrogen economy . Then again I could be wrong , it's not like I never been wrong before. LOL.
  16. No I mean when you go out driving, if you are home based then Solar is a good option, but not all driving is leave home, drive no more than the available range and then return home to charge with your solar. Then you have all those people that live in apartments and condominiums. Then you have the weight issue, it costs energy to accelerate matter. , that's why weight matters in cars, and a BAV is conceivably heavier that a FCEV.( fuelCell EV )Which is bart of the problem with BAV (Battery EV) airplanes. I remember reading some place (sorry I could not find the article ) about the issue of all EV traffic over bridges , buildings and other structures, An EV weights 2.5 times what an ICE vehicle ant two times as FCEV Other than the infustracture challenge from an engineer's point of view FCRC is a much better option, if and when the production and delivery infustracture of hydrogen is overcome, I am convinced BEVs would be history except for specific applications.
  17. What you are doing right now is grate, as soon as my 2 year old car is old enough to sell without taking a bath , I will join you, but unfortunately you cant take your solar system with you , many countries in the world do not have the electric infustracture to support wide use and charging of EV's. The grid just cant handle it, and then you have the rechargeable battery challenges (rare earth minerals, pollution from mining, manufacturing, and recycling) Hydrogen production might have challenges, but the science is changing, and it is clean and abundant. IIMO and the opinion an many that know a lot more than I do the current EV structure is a stop gap solution, " President Joe Biden and Secretary of the U.S. Department of Energy Jennifer Granholm will announce on Friday seven regional “hydrogen hubs” which are collectively eligible for up to $7 billion in federal funding", https://www.cnbc.com/2023/10/13/bidens-hydrogen-hubs-will-get-7-billion-california-houston-more.html "Ghttps://www.euractiv.com/section/energy-environment/news/germany-to-invest-e8-bn-in-large-scale-hydrogen-projects/ermany to invest €8 bn in large-scale hydrogen projects" I am not going to b ore you with more article and links, but investments are being made by every major countries around the world, and it is not because they don't know what to do with their money. Anyway, it will be interesting to see how it all plays out, tomorrows they might come out with a new rechargeable based on silicon who knows.
  18. EVs are not going anywhere , the only thing that will change is the way the electricity is delivered to the vehicle. Right now the infustracture exists where the EV has a battery that could be charged at home or a charging station, but as use becomes widespread the load on such infrastructure will cause a strain How about id you could pour electricity on a liquid container and pour it in your car like you do now with gas, That would be game changer , right? There are many types pf batteries available and being developed but all have their challenges. Hydrogen fuel cell , is just another battery, the energy is poured in the medium while the hydrogen is separated, and the electric energy is removed from it as it is used my the EV, then you go to a hydrogen station and refill. The challenge is that there are very few Hydrogen fill stations, but that will change , like it is changing with traditional charging stations. EVs are not going anywhere, they are easy to produce and easy to maintain. But the Battery medium will change, I foresee a Hydrogen powered EV, in everyone's life.
  19. Yea , because the ultra-rich don't have people taking care of these things LOL I am sure most of the Ultra rich come to Thailand once or twice, but why would they spend their holidays here? What is here that would keep them coming back? One thing is reaching critical mass. The very rich, go where other very rich go. Why? First they create a market that develops an infustracture to support their lifestyle. Second the biggest contributor to success is proximity to success. Birds of a feather roost together. See and be seen !! Locations in the Mediterranean has not only proximity with other successful people it has proximity to many different locations where successful people congregate. The can spend a few days on their yacht in Santorini, then yacht over to Malta for a couple days , the to the sour of france, or Italy or park it and jump on a short flight to every European location. Here, well I guess they can hop over to Vietnam for some Pho.
  20. You obviously have not followed the full thread of the conversation concerning Noam Chomsky, and is responding to individual posts out of context, so obviously you can't see the relevancy. If you are interested to know how Chomsky relates to the conversation I am having and you chose to be part off I suggest you backtrack to my original post ad then follow the thread of this conversation.
  21. Obviously the people that hired /elected him thought. I think you get my point, if you don't, then I would be wasting my breath in trying to explain it to you. Chomsky is certainly not the point, as as are every other persons that was quoted in this and other threads is. The point is their opinion and if such opinion comes from a respected person. .
