  1. I was asking for a friend ! Yea that's what it is a friend ????
  2. Is that with a partner , or without?
  3. Yes but the are regulations on both ends the OP need to be aware of.
  4. Many U-turns in Thailand are accidents waiting to happen. In Khon Kaen, Mittrapap rd cars travel at highway speeds and many places the only way to get to the other side is by making a U-turn, sometimes there are dozens of cars waiting, and after a while they get tired and go for it. Many times I see trucks go on the outside of the waiting line, and slowly inch across the street until they block the opposing traffic and force them to stop, and then the truck also stops allowing the waiting cars to turn. Its crazy.
  5. Yea the first. Size doesn't matter, it's all in how you drive to Tuk Tuk
  6. A cry for help id I ever saw one. Personally I think Glama Gobulin has way too much free time on his hands , What do you all think?
  7. Sorry dude , I know it's your dream but how about getting an Etan and setting it up as a baht bus? Now that's something I want to see.
  8. I draw the line at 6ft , and no shorter than 5 ft. A man got's to have standards.
  9. The assumption is that since you would be coming from a foreign country , you would be bringing foreign currency. I would be very foolish IMO to exchange your home currency for Thai baht at your home country because you get a terrible exchange rate . At least such is the case in the US. Exchange a little bit at the airport to have enough to get around until you get to your final destination , and then exchange the rest there , I find Super-rich to have the best exchange rates. Make sure to bring clean , undamaged , unmarked bills , most places will not exchange bills that are old, marked or in any way damaged. We now live here, but when we were in the US , we always went to the bank and asked for new , $100 bills.
  10. According to the Thai embassy https://london.thaiembassy.org/en/publicservice/84708-bringing-currency-in-and-out-of-thailand?page=5d6636ce15e39c3bd000734d&menu=5d6636ce15e39c3bd000734e "Any person who brings or takes an aggregate amount of foreign currency exceeding USD20,000 or its equivalent out of or into Thailand shall declare such amount of foreign currency to a Customs Officer. "

  15. Well good , because you are not . Christmas too. Fourth of July you can come, but you are bringing the beer. And not the cheap stuff you always try to bring. ????
  16. When you buy something and gift it, surely you must understand it is no longer yours ?,Right? Otherwise you are not invited to my birthday.
  17. Well said, but I am afraid you are wasting your breath. I have long given up on trumpsters, and now I just make fun of them. One of them will post something ridicules that anyone with a high double digit IQ would know it to be ridiculous simply by applying logic. You offer them incontrovertible proof of how wrong they are, with text and supporting links , you even give them pictures . Because we all know the trouble they have with big words,.And a couple of days later they are posting exactly the same crap. I have come to the conclusion that they have the memory, attention span and intelligence of squirrel . And that's I am afraid is an insult to squirrels

  19. Ok let me see if I understand this correctly , The losing PM. remains prime minister until , a new one is installed. Am I correct? If so, what is the incentive to install a new one?
  20. Of course it does, depending on the wall material and distance. At the extreme end a Faraday cage configuration will block all WiFi on the other, location of router could also impact signal. At my US home (Wood frame three floors,) I had to have a repeater, near the stairs where the signal was the strongest , and it repeated the signal to the rest of the floor. I think the name of the device was called TP LINK. If you are having problems try moving your router higher or as much as you can to see if it improves your situation. I don't know much about these things, I just did what I was advised and it worked for me, , There are also other devices that will expand your range but I cant remember what they were, Perhaps someone more knowledgeable than my will comment on that, or google it.
  21. Funny you would say that, because my wife says the opposite, to which I reply "I don't think so"
  22. So does that mean he can only sell 9 of them .
