If you have a good relationship with the family If you have a formal ceremony where friends of the family are invited then a show is made with a money tree and afterwards the money is returned , That's what fappened in our heterosexual wedding. As I said if you have a good relationship with their family the parents should be happy their child is in a good relationship. And she said you can call them and change your minimum as you need it, So I guess you could set an amount adequate for your daily use ,and call them and raise your minimum if you needed to spend more.

Use your name, even though it might not show on the card it is attached to the card in your account. , It should not be no problem , I have to check with my wife because she is the one who always makes the reservations(she is out shopping) But we alway fly with Thai Smile (at least a couple of time a year KKC to BKK) and I pretty sure my wife uses our debit card. May I also suggest you apply for a Kasikorn credit card? I have one and it was easy to get. I got one and this is my understanding Why get a credit card? Because in situations such as car rentals, Debit cards can be a problem. So It is secured by funds in your account , (so in essence it is really a debit card) but the funds are not removed from your account, unless you don't pay you balance. So your balance stays the same for Immigration purposes. I just got it a few weeks ago, not wanting to use my US cards anymore .and I have made only one charge so far, also with Thai smile. As I said I am new to this, and this is my understanding. IMO worth looking into it. There is no annual fee for the first 12 transactions, anymore than that and there is an annual fee of 1500 baht per year.

I agree, I love my wife very much, and she me , as most of us do, and the thought That one day I will pass away before her and leave her along disturbs me. I do wish we were much closer in age. so as you say,"grow old together" And of course there are all the other things you mentioned.

Now that you reminded me ,we are meeting my sister and her husband from the US in Greece in a couple of weeks, and she is bringing me a bunch of small things, I need to have her bring me some melatonin 5mg 120 count $6.59 per bottle on Amazon. 3 bottles should be enough for the year. In the morning I take B1 complex , it helps to reduce urination frequency and it has for me. It takes about a month before it becomes affective. In the evening at 8pm I take Magnesium, and 30 before I want to fall asleep , 5mg of Melatonin and five minutes later 50 mg of Benadryl (generic Diphenhydramine) . I sleep 8-9 hrs, and only get up once to urinate.

If I had to choose now I would chose a much older woman because by that age both their eyesight and sense of smell is failing. And since both of mine have failed a long time ago, A win win situation.
