Geert Wilders' victory in Netherlands election spooks Europe
sirineou replied to CharlieH's topic in World News
If maintaining the current state of the planet was the criteria then you would be correct, But it is not! The survival of the Human race is, Because, as far as we know, humans are the only way the the Universe has by which to examine itself. Under our current system we weed to maintain the current population or increased to sustain the economic system we live under. Perhaps with a different economic system we will not, but we don't have one , we have the one we have now, and there are no plans to change to a different one. In fact people like you, resist changing to a different socialists system. Sp you need people!! I assume you are retired, or some day will be. Who would support you pension system? There were 7 working people per retiree, By 2047, there will be just two workers, I want to see what you will say when your pension system goes bust. -
I understand your reaction though, I also hate those confused emojis . What is their purpose, anyway? If you are confused what is the use of telling me so? What can I do , if I don't know why one is confused? To me they makes no sense a should be eliminated. The only purpose the serve is to limit participation, and why Asean Now would want to limit participation is also beyond me.

Yea I don't like these emojis also , but I think the above is a Sad emoji and indeed appropriate. Or perhaps it was changed to the intended sad emoji after your comment. I agree with everything you say, more has to be done , but the locals here use fire like we in the west use a weed wacker, grass to high? when dry set it on fire. I see it every day. If I do I am sure the authorities do also. So far so good here in Khon Kaen, lets cross our fingers,! Usually this time of the Year we go to Florida for Holidays with family . Usually we stay longer but this year we are coming back for the new year, So we will see.

Thank you!! I am retired . and finally I have time to do what I want Usually you do 16" on center ( OC) to accommodate 2x4 drywall . In the instance of the sala, Sera wood floor board calls for 40 cm (16") OC joist spacing . My floor joist are 24" oc . I have not decided what I will use for flooring, If I go with conwood or cerra floor board, I will have to put extra bracing, but I am toying with the idea of putting down composite board 4x8 (is similar to cement board) and lay a noce slate tile on it. (the floor joists are 3x4 steel , the periphery is 4x4 so there is no bounce at all, so if I do this I will leave it as is.

Thai man loses pickup to woman after 2 weeks of dating
sirineou replied to webfact's topic in Isaan News
Thanks , I appreciated the link. Same point was made by Croccy earlier on the thread, but I understand how you did not see it, I also don't read every reply in a thread. I should had read the link also before replying. To my defence I did not even see that there was a link. So I adhered to the Asean now forum time honored tradition of not allowing the facts to get in the way of a good reply -
Geert Wilders' victory in Netherlands election spooks Europe
sirineou replied to CharlieH's topic in World News
The whole thing went over your head, didn't? My reply is too "Well I didn't see this one coming " and goes on to editorialise how the "indigenous" people of Europe are being sold out, to be colonised. The topic is that another right winger elected "spooks Europe " With elements of " linking Muslim immigration with terrorism " Sound familiar ? To me it sounds straight out of trump's playbook. in fact according to this article "sometimes dubbed the Dutch Trump - partly for his dyed, bouffant-like hairdo, and partly for his famously firebrand rhetoric. " And I went on to tell you that since europeans are reproducing well below replacement rate , Immigration is necessary to maintain a stable and perhaps growing population, . e -
Geert Wilders' victory in Netherlands election spooks Europe
sirineou replied to CharlieH's topic in World News
Given what you know, what you said might make sense to you, but unfortunately for you and many others , what you know is not the full picture. When trump was elected, I often posted that trump was a danger, but that he was not the real danger. The real danger is that the players saw how much more they can get away with, and how much the electorate would buy. and players will be players, I said, "one way of another trump will go away, but trump wannabes will always be around. and now they have a new play, in their play book" And we see this play all around the world. Most countries are depopulating, this is a fact, first world women are not having enough children. That is a fact. The US has an advantage in this paradigm, they have an immigrant culture, and are a desirable immigrant destination, so they are able to maintain population and grow. If they are to survive as viable economies, European countries need to learn from the above lesson. Either have more children or replace your population with immigrants. It is as simple as that. But the immigration issue is a wedge issue that players will use, and "players will be players" they will play every card they have, and Ethnocentrism is a card the hold. The Brits shot themselves in the foot by it, the Netherlands will shoot their foots also , and I am afraid that unless the immigration issue is addressed in a sustainable fashion, and a way that it is palatable to all involved, more countries are not far behind. -

Thanks for that, I did not read the full article. -
I agree with everything except that there is no financial benefit to the HOA. As you said the OP does not own the unit, so unless it is specified in the rental agreement , he has no case. If such pool rental is allowed by HOA bylaws, then the the income from the rental, should go in the coffers of the HOA to be used for maintenance and as such benefits every unit owner.

I admit she sounds suspicious , But how does he know she stole the truck? I see nothing in this article that is proof she took it. Just some circumstantial evidence that she was gone, at the same time that his pickup was gone. -

You can put an on-demand water heater , like you will have in shower ,under the sink if you want hot water on your sink. They are relatively inexpensive and you would not need it very warm you can get a small unit. I shave with cold water (never too cold in Thailand anyway) for many years with no problem. -
Update : I learn something new a couple of days ago. I wanted to say "Today" but nooo, nothing new today. Anyway , I learn I can make my own Cappuccino , with decaf instant coffee. (I found at top's) In your coffee cup pot a spoonful of instant coffee, sugar to taste, and enough water to make a slurry. Nit noy nam!! Heat the milk (Full fat) but don't boil . Then you can either use a wisk mixer, or you can put the milk in a jar and shake it vigorously until frothy. pour most milk in your decaf slurry and lightly mix. Them if you like you can use the remaining milk to make one of these fancy latte designs I am not very good with the designs, but then again I don't look at my coffee so who cares. The method makes a surprisingly good Cappuccino.

Going to Do home to burn some energy and money , I will pick this up when I return,
-
Thank you for that. but IMO it tastes like cap . I like cappuccino and by the way , what's width all the double letters in coffee related products? could one of the effects of caffeine , is to induce stuttering ? (Coffee, caffeine , Cappuccino ) Inquiring minds want to know.
