That's a big shame

Hopefully Trump will stand up against this!

He is making a sacrifice to the American people.
He wants to concentrate on making America great again.
"The Trump University settlement might backfire if lawyers think Trump is eager to settle to avoid court cases while president."
Litigation America, trying to destroy itself!

The consequence of the national Popular Vote = ZERO

I just watched this 1994 documentary about Trump.
Was very interesting, I would recommend the DT haters to watch.

Trump is even more unpopular than Hillary!
Politico: “A populist candidate who railed against shady financial interests on the campaign trail is now putting together an administration that looks like an investment banker’s dream.”
“It’s a restoration of Wall Street power — and a potential flip in the way the industry is regulated — perhaps unparalleled in American history."
Trump is so tired of winning he's staying away from Washington -- hasn't been there since last week. Trump is not up to the job already.
Well lets see how popular he is in 4 or 8 years.

Recognise it. Accept it. Live with it.
Now that is funny
To be pedantic he has not lost the national popular vote, as they are still counting. He is loosing it currently, (not that it matters a jot).
Also I am sure that you will find there will be some compromises. Trump knows how to get things done.
He is a winner!

That is the system that exists. That is the game that was played. Trump won that game by a big margin.
If it was a different game it would have been played differently.
I suspect the the result would be the same though.

The radical right has been denying the national Popular Vote since the counting of it went and has remained favorable to former SecState Hillary Clinton.
The national Popular Vote is integral to every election every where at all times because it is the direct vote of the people who constitute the electorate.
The radical right have been denying the national popular vote daily, numerous times daily since the votes began to be counted November 8th.
No body is denying the national popular vote? At first count Hillary is ahead by a fraction of 1%.
What is your point?

Middle school grade 7 civics again, which I am please to point out...
Win the Electoral College Electors and Vote by winning the Popular Vote. Then there separately is the Popular Vote. The EC is the technical vote. The PV is the direct vote of the people as the electorate.
Dismissing the direct Popular Vote in a state, all 50 states or nationally, is antidemocratic.
Sorry, I really don't know what you are talking about????????
But that is fine please do not try to explain any further.

Dismissing or disparaging the direct Popular Vote in any way is undemocratic.
It may lead to becoming antidemocratic. (It may in fact be bringing antidemocratic thinking out of the closet.)
Either the Popular Vote in every instance, every time, is respected or it is disrespected. The latter suggests certain antidemocratic tendencies. There's a name for antidemocratic tendencies or beliefs -- or purposes.
The nationwide popular vote is not part of the current democratic process. Therefore, it is entirely irrelevant.
Luckily, as can you imagine the farce, over a week since election day and still counting. less than 1% between 120 million plus votes. They would be recounting it for 4 years!!!
Also as is obvious, the campaigns, both sides were for the electoral votes, had the rules been different then the campaigns would have been different .
No doubt Trump would have won that game too!

He is also figuratively speaking going to create jobs, fix the infrastructure, make education affordable, and solve the cost of healthcare. Literately speaking he is going to fill the coffers of his family business.....
Whatever, tired of all this petty bickering. Come back in 4 years!!!!!

"A wall, a big big beautiful wall, more beautiful than any other wall". And you thought he was speaking literately, rather than figuratively?
A secure boarder is what matters, and is what the people want and expect. That is what he needs to deliver, and no one cares how much wall/fence/ditch is involved.
-
They did not campaign to win the popular vote, and if they had the campaigns would have been run differently, so we will never know what the result would have been.
However, as things stand, the popular vote numbers are so close, you would be spending the next 4 years recounting it.

Do you feel better now that I've referenced my fact?
No.
This is opinion not fact!
He was not equating his sacrifices, just responding to "he sacrificed nothing and no one".

Clearly you don't like legitimate, factual criticism of your demigod, but the comment is on-topic.
Just because you said something does not make it a fact. Fact!

Yes, I plead guilty.I still think you don't get it about what this election shock means.
Totally virgin territory in the American experience.
The opposite of a normal election is not going to result in anything like a normal presidency for the shock winner.

Yeah unlike a normal presidency, Trump may actually get some positive things done.
Could be an 8 year run. Dow Jones is hitting all-time highs, just on the possibility of a Trump Expansion.

Yeah they are going to turn into the type of movement I get the morning after a big night out and a kebab on the way home.
