No "back story" in my case. I was a Barclays customer for almost 40 years. Salary (then pension) paid into my account on the first working day of every month without fail. Never overdrawn. A few car loans and a mortgage over the years, which were never defaulted. I moved to Thailand in 2005 and notified Barclays of my new address. Carried on using the account for purchases here and in the UK, plus regular transfers to my BBL account for living expenses. Completely out of the blue in 2021 I received a letter informing me that I must close my account within a few months, or Barclays would close it. -

Financials for my latest extension at Jomtien (late October): 12 month statement, Copy of each page of bank book (going back 12 months), Bank letter stating that I hold an account (BBL) and current balance, Separate bank letter listing each of the monthly foreign transfers, Proof of where the money came from. I produced a letter from my pension provider, showing the monthly and annual amount - this was accepted. -

In such circumstances does the pilot announce that an engine has failed? I would have thought it better to just get on and land the plane without scaring the passengers.- 92 replies

Maybe this from the link in the OP ... "That list also includes former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and his top aide, Brian Hook, as well as former National Security Adviser John Bolton – all of whom, like Milley, had been targeted by Iran for assassination."

Q: Why does a classic French omelette contain only one egg? A: Because, in France, one egg is un oeuf. -
One of the scents that always reminds me of my first visits to Thailand. Happy times. Snake brand prickly heat powder is another. They brought out a shower gel version a few years back and now I don't use anything else.

Thanks again. I appreciate your suggestion of an alternative treatment and will bear it in mind if needed. We will see a dermatologist, either at Pattaya Memorial or Pattaya International and go from there. I just found an old TV topic that mentions Dr Waraporn Klanwarin at PIH, saying she also has a clinic at Queen Sirikit - just 15 minutes from our home.
-
I listen to all advice and opinions. Thank you for yours. My wife contacted Queen Sirikit hospital today and was told that they will not give acne treatment to anyone under 14 years of age - which I find strange. Anyway, we have a few more options to explore.
