  1. Or I must admit that I've skipped a few pages. I thought Phuket Girl was living in Chonburi city. Now it seems she's in Pattaya. Should we now refer to her as Pattaya Girl?
  2. That bombshell will guarantee the thread going over 200 pages. Well done Cameroni!
  3. According to Pravda https://english.pravda.ru/news/society/165484-russian-surgeon-witness-rape-thailand-death-pattaya/ Details have emerged about the death of a Russian surgeon from Krasnoyarsk who reportedly witnessed a rape in Thailand. According to preliminary information, 41-year-old Timofey Borisov took his own life while attempting to evade pursuers.
  4. Thanks Charlie. That has resolved No1, but not No2.
  5. Browsing through "Unread Content" - Before the update, clicking on "2 minutes ago" would take me to the post shown, which I am interested to read. Now it takes me to the opening post of the topic and I have to scroll through to find it. Reading through a topic and I want to go back to look again at the quoted post (shown here as "3 hours ago, Hanaguma said:") - Before the update, I could click on "3 hours ago, Hanaguma said:" and would be taken back to that post. Now, clicking it just reduces/expands the quoted post. Is this a permanent update, or will the more convenient feature be returned in the future?
  6. Our dog keeps cats at bay, but I've read that motion sensitive garden sprinklers can be effective. For example ... https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=how+to+stop+cats+from+pooping+in+my+garden#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:a3ae4848,vid:Tgv0vHNxRD0,st:0 How It Works: Using infrared technology, this repeller senses an animal's heat and movement up to 30 feet away. When an animal is detected, its sprinkler releases a sudden burst of water combined with startling noise and motion that safely and effectively repels a wide range of animals. And the animal detector works day or night, so it's always on watch. This motion sensor sprinkler will defend up to 1,900 square feet. This repeller eliminates the need to apply chemical repellents, keeping your yard easy and inexpensive to maintain, and safe for children and pets. And each spray uses only 2-3 cups of water, so it's efficient.
  7. In that case (if Greenlanders' votes can be bought) Greenland will go to the highest bidder. Maybe not the USA, but a consortium of wealthy countries or billionaires. (or a few trillionaires) /s
  8. Denmark preparing to defend Greenland.
  9. According to the BBC the ship (Marinera) has been seized by the US navy, without much resistance. Moscow has said the ship was only "temporarily" flagged as Russian (whatever that means) and that Russian crew members should be repatriated asap. BBC NewsWhite House to hold briefing after US seizes Russian-flag...The UK said it gave support to the operation, while the US confirmed it had also seized a second vessel linked to Venezuela in the Caribbean Sea.
  10. Sounds like the plot to a Tom Clancy movie.
  11. Pedant here. That should be 1.54 men per minute - not 1.54 minutes per man. 12 hours is 43,200 seconds. Divided by 1113 men = 38.8 seconds for each man.
  12. UK, France, India, Pakistan, N Korea, Israel, maybe Iran and others already have nuclear capability (unknown capacity). At least 2 of those can not be relied upon to follow the script
  13. No doubt at all, some guys have been badly burned in their relationships with Thai women. The same might be said in any relationship, regardless of location or nationality. However, IME - Thais have extremely strong family ties. I think it's to do with having no (or little) state welfare - such as we are used to in Western countries. Children and grandchildren are expected to take their share in looking after their elders. That is normal behaviour here but, obviously, some individuals will take advantage of their (wealthy) foreign partners. From what you posted, your wife is not draining your personal finances to donate to her family she is using her own earnings. I'd say that is pretty normal and honest behaviour.
