I saw it at Promenada the day after it opened in an almost empty theater.Speaking of Star Wars do you think it will be still busy over at Robinsons? Or should I wait another week or so? Don't want to see it in a packed cinema.
Where the kids still at school?
I think the clue to no one being there is that he saw it at Promenada (although it is getting slowly busier there it seems )

You might want to read the original postGreat. Just if you are going to hold forth for hours Manspreading your lappie and materials could you please order a reasonable amount of cakes and drinks? Not too much to ask for free Wifi.
Their "lappie" is broken - hence the need for an Internet cafe and not a coffee shop with free internet - there is a slight difference

How about the municipal stadium in Chang Puek near the bus station?

Most 'Indian' restaurants are actually Bangladeshi - I worked with an Indian company and when the guys and girls came over to the uk they were disappointed with the food and couldn't understand why the Bangladeshi's were passing themselves off as Indian.
On the plus side they tried all the local restaurants, found the one that was closest to true Indian and then taught them their homemade dishes - the quality improved massively

At the moment I am looking at 3 (4) TV sets
Panasonic TH-55CX600T / TH-50CX600T - 45,990 / 36,990
LG 55UF770T-SMART - 35,990
Samsung UA55JU6000KXXT - 39,990
The Panasonic seems to price itself out of the game unless the pq is 10,000 THB better than the LG
The Samsung is 3D, which I don't really need so I'm hoping there is an equivalent non-3D version for a few thousand baht cheaper
Any thoughts / experiences with these?
The LG 55UF670T is the same as the 770T minus 3D, and can be had for just 26,990 Baht: http://www.cdiscount.co.th/electronics-cameras/tv-video/lg-uhd-web-os-2-0-tv-55-niw-run-55uf680t/f-25000001-ha1751sd25727cdt.html
That's the model I ended up with - a little more expensive - 28k but 10 month interest free that also got me and the Mrs a few other items at 10 months interest free
I'm currently watching Luther upscaled from 1080p to 4K - awesome

IMHO Indian restaurants in CM are very poor and not a patch on a decent Indian in England.
Accha has Kingfisher - that should make it more like home
-
A second vote for Accha - I love their butter chicken and their naan bread isn't as doughy as the ones I'm used too so they're nicer as well

I was at the airport immigration last week and they are in the process of knocking down the coffee shop to the right of immigration so I'm guessing they are planning to extend the office to take up all the space to the right

Hi,
Does anyone know how to find the equivalent uk model code for various Thai TVs?
For example one tv I'm looking at is the Panasonic TH-55CX600T but I can't find any reviews in English for it so I'm guessing it was released with a different model number in the uk
I'm also looking at various Sony, Toshiba, LG and Samsung sets
Cheers

Strange - we're in the middle of the city and the air con has been off since the last week of November - hopefully won't be on again until February at the earliest

Does the TM28 need to be done in person?
If I go to Bangkok for the weekend and get back on Sunday evening do I have to take Monday off work to go and do the TM28 reporting?

Thanks for the suggestion guys - I'll spend some time perusing the sites you've mentioned

Anywhere in Thailand doing something similar to these guys?
Or recommendations for routers that can be bought over here and flashed?
Many thanks

Every day i notice groups of three or four Chinese young girls in local restaurants or standing on street corners looking at maps.
They are also looking for the Chinese men

There are always Thai guys playing on the court at the Municipal Stadium in Chang Puek - occasionally I see westerners playing with them so you might be able to get a game there

Back in August I transferred my stamps into my new passport - got to the old office around 07:30 and was done around 10:00

Most of the major shopping malls have a car wash - they'll be expensive in comparison to the street based ones but they'll be plenty to do while you're waiting
There is a car wash at the Shell garage on Huay Kaew road and also one by the Chotana Tops supermarket in Chang Puek

If they chopped out the 16gb and replaced it with 32 gb that would suit me down to the ground but if they did that I reckon the sales of the 64gb would disappear

The app that needs to be installed using a different Apple ID than the one that is currently logged into the app store
So either the app was installed by the original owner using their Apple ID (in which case you'd probably need to delete the app and download it again from the App Store and pay for it again if it's not free)
Or you've switched Apple IDs in the store since downloading the app originally - for example you downloaded it wit your wife's Apple ID and now you are logged in with you Apple ID
