I would suggest going January / early February - the burning season starts around and of Feb / early March so your views will be obscured
I'd recommend Doi Luang(?) in Chiang Dao - 3rd tallest mountain in Thailand as I understand it
You'll need to book as only limited numbers can visit - also you'll be staying overnight in a tent
i found it a little challenging as I wasn't in the best shape at the time but the views are stunning

I went to one of those shops across the moat from riders corner 2 years ago, ordered camo netting from Bangkok using a photo on my phone. went back a few times over a fortnight to collect as they kept saying 2 days only.
"no have" was the result.
Maybe it was just really good camo netting and once they put it down they couldn't find it again

Hadn't realised dressing as a Simpsons character made me a racist Nazi - I'm surprised the show hasn't been banned

Hi,
I'm heading to a Simpsons themed fancy dress party at the weekend and thought I'd go as Disco Stu (although going as Homer would take far less effort
)
Can anyone recommend a shop where I can get an Afro wig from?
Cheers

Maybe it's a typo and they meant Patong

Rain

What levels were the dams at the end of last years rainy season? Hopefully they'll be higher than that at the end of this season

Try adding sugar or honey to mask the bitterness

I looked recently and I don't believe the Hue light bulbs are available officially in Thailand
i did come across one website where I guess the guy was importing them but I decided not to use them as someone had asked them whether they had the new Hue Hub or the original version and they didn't know

If your words are valid, identify one venue in Chiang Mai with English language musical talent. Rather than utter nonsense, share the venues with us.
Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa ConnectDont believe I've heard a Thai song in Boy's Blues Bar

You sure do seem to have a bee in your bonnet about beer and Brits

So you like speaking with white people, just because they are white?
And you don't think that makes you a racist? Oh yes it does.

Not entirely sure how these comments help the OP determine whether Chiang Mai is better suited to him then Pattaya
Although knowing you you reside in Chiang Mai may well steer him towards staying in Pattaya

I rate them highly - the staff are professional, the rooms are nice and even the food is good
As to whether I would go back or not unfortunately I have to go back tomorrow for a minor procedure

I agree with Israthai - rooms are fine especially compared to CM Ram

I understand the students at the ITM massage school visit a morgue at a hospital as part of their study - I guess to see how the muscles and tendons interact
might be be worth checking with them to see what hospital they use

No need to stock up on beer when the bars are only closed for a day and a bit - I think I can survive !!

Will this weekend be treated as a typical election weekend? I.e no alcohol served anywhere after 18:00 on Friday?

Yes, very good.Good to hear!
But who will take his place as mayor of Shintown?
Me - by (un)popular demand

I'd love to have a Maine Coon again - that's a proper cat
But I think it would be unfair to bring a long haired cat into this weather

Hi,
I need a 2 to 3 metre Toslink cable - tried Amorn and got them to check their stock but they don't have any
I can get one from Lazada if needs be but would prefer to buy locally
Any suggestions?

I think it's much harder to get a site like this to be as bad as it is than it is to create a site that works consistently well
