Hopefully whoever  designed this system won't be tasked with designing anything really important!!!  Probably even got a bonus for designing this crap!

I think it's much harder to get a site like this to be as bad as it is than it is to create a site that works consistently well ;)

  2. I would suggest going January / early February - the burning season starts around and of Feb / early March so your views will be obscured

I'd recommend Doi Luang(?) in Chiang Dao - 3rd tallest mountain in Thailand as I understand it

You'll need to book as only limited numbers can visit - also you'll be staying overnight in a tent

i found it a little challenging as I wasn't in the best shape at the time but the views are stunning

I went to one of those shops across the moat from riders corner 2 years ago, ordered camo netting from Bangkok using a photo on my phone. went back a few times over a fortnight to collect as they kept saying 2 days only.

    "no have" was the result.

Maybe it was just really good camo netting and once they put it down they couldn't find it again ;)

  4. Hi,

I'm heading to a Simpsons themed fancy dress party at the weekend and thought I'd go as Disco Stu (although going as Homer would take far less effort ;) )

Can anyone recommend a shop where I can get an Afro wig from?

    Cheers

  5. I looked recently and I don't believe the Hue light bulbs are available officially in Thailand

i did come across one website where I guess the guy was importing them but I decided not to use them as someone had asked them whether they had the new Hue Hub or the original version and they didn't know

So you like speaking with white people, just because they are white?

And you don't think that makes you a racist? Oh yes it does.

I always avoid white people who slip 'farang' into conversations, not all that keen on speaking with racists.

Not entirely  sure how these comments help the OP determine whether Chiang Mai is better suited to him then Pattaya

Although knowing you you reside in Chiang Mai may well steer him towards staying in Pattaya
