  1. Korat? Note to self, stay in Bangkok.
  2. That's what I did, no comments received so must have been OK. Blue ink.
  3. Better than in India. Order a "pint" and you'll get a half. If you want a pint you have to tell them "full pint".
  4. That's a denied entry stamp? Might have been better to get a new passport I very much doubt they would cover that with a visa sticker but don't see why they wouldn't use that last page as there's plenty of room elsewhere for entry/exit stamps.
  5. Where? Better to ask your neighbours than here. I use True and have never had any issue, 35-100 Mbps is normal (right now 93.6) depending on the time of day. And downloading from where?
  6. I also end up with some scrubbing out of some parts, normally the dates. It would be a piece of cake to change the format to something more out of this century but that's unlikely to happen until the next. I also wonder why anything is in Thai at all, 99% of people filling the form can't read Thai and one would hope that 90% of the immigration folks can read enough English to know hat has been declared. But, take it easy and we always get there in the end.
  7. The basic answer to the question is YES. You can enter visa exempt or tourist and convert to a non-O in country then extend . Or enter non-O and extend. If you have the cash (in a Thai bank account) ought to be relatively easy, if not that's a hurdle relatively easy to overcome.
  8. 1 year multi? It's been required in many places for many years. I used to get a non-O multi (marriage) in Penang 10 or so years ago and the same requirement was there.
  9. As it is clearly not easy to do elsewhere I am wondering what is wrong with Bangkok Bank?
  10. You can add to your "Wishlist" - click on the heart symbol. And you can add stores to your "FollowedStores" list.
  11. Fortune tellers. No need to even acknowledge let alone engage in any conversation whatsoever.
  12. They work fine in Thailand, and in the Philippines. Just get one whilst you are in the UK. It's very likely to come in handy.
  13. They used to be an expensive option but now much less so, from the Wise website.....
  14. You can also go in a nice one with a decent breakfast and lunch included. Horses for courses.
  15. I made mine 4 weeks in advance and chose 13:00. I see now the same is possible in 4 weeks from now. For me at least the system just worked. Too good to be true, no, just true.
  16. She will have a map of the route to her destination, as would the driver. However, I have noticed in some an almost complete lack of understanding of what a map is or its purpose. It would be interesting to learn if she actually booked the trip to the right airport.
  17. My most recent departure (Emirates business) took less than 30 minutes from arriving at check in to sitting in the lounge. You will also be able to use the same new fast track/priority security/immigration area at the far right end of the terminal. I always allow far too long for this process but don't really mind as the EK lounge is very good.
  18. Very nice. But your evidence also includes the 15 day thing which is also not true.
  19. Guess it depends which one is most likely to finish first? With an extension based on working it ends quickly when the job finishes, one would hope that the marriage would be a more permanent thing.
  20. They keep it and unless things have changed it is a sticker. They will send it, for a fee, when the application is complete or you go and fetch it.
