  1. You can't do it without the visit. From VFS..... In 3 simple steps, your Thailand E-Extension application is ready! Step 1: Provide the Application details and upload the necessary Documents Step 2: Book an appointment and Pay the fees online Step 3: Get the E-Extension visa stamp at Immigration
  2. The primary selling feature is that you have an appointment and are in and out in 45 minutes. That and it's pre-approved so ought not be issues with extra documents, etc.
  3. You apply online with VFS. The application is then handled at the office you select from this list, which you will then attend to submit hard copy paperwork and get the extension sricker in your passport. Did it myself yesterday at CW, no issues at all, they even re-did a couple of copies where mine were not to their liking (despite being "pre-approved") Bangkok Chiang Mai Chonburi (Pattaya) Koh Phangan Koh Samui Nonthaburi Pathum Thani Phuket Samut Prakan
  4. A multi-entry (1 year) non-O visa is not issued in Thailand. An extension of stay is, not the same animal.
  5. He will have to find a new way to make the payments for his car/motorbike/mia noi.
  6. It is normal for an agent to keep hold of your UK passport when applying on your behalf but only for their convenience, they don't send it to the UK for any purpose. It is still cancelled at VFS when they pick up your new passport exactly as it would be if you applied directly.
  7. You can get a 30 day extension without any problem at all. It is perfectly normal to do so. You will need a TM30 from wherever you are staying when you apply. A 60 day extension to visit your wife is also possible.
  8. You normally don't need a prescription for blood pressure medicine if you can find somewhere selling what you need. Might be an idea to post what you need on the health and medicine forum (https://aseannow.com/forum/23-health-and-medicine/), somebody should know if it is available here or not.
  9. Its all on here; https://www.passport.service.gov.uk/overseas/information/thailand/renew/adult?
  10. As it means him basically getting a loan from Krungsri they will want all the usual checks and guarantees for that. If you intend to remain in contact with him it might be better/easier to have him pay you the monthly payments, or even better just a one-off and do the transfer once your loan is paid off.
  11. I reckon you have nailed the best way to reliably answer the OP's question.
  12. Unless you specifically need Supperrich you'll get very similar rates a short walk away from Nana at Vasu, on the corner of Soi 7/1.
  13. Sam Phan Bok? I was thinking this was going to be another ad for the Soi 6 Annual Party.
  14. She's asking you for advice or 20,000? If the latter give it with a smile and be done with it.
  15. Didn't ought to be a problem as there is no border passport check on departure (only airline check-in and they won't know)
  16. Good. I hope the train companies, and others, reduce their pay offers to their employees proportionally.
  17. I recently had an issue with them and actually managed to get past the bot and have a direct chat with Harry, an apparently human agent. So it is possible but it was rather tedious. I could not find any alternative means of contact.
  18. Here you go then, 13 weeks they say..... https://www.passport.service.gov.uk/overseas/information/vietnam/renew/adult
  19. You keep the old passport, nothing is physically done to it until the replacement arrives. Yes it is cancelled in the UK "system" when the application reaches there but they do not tell anybody unless they are specifically asked. So whilst it is true that is is not officially valid for travel nobody outside of the UK will know that, so it's a risk you may or may not wish to take.
  20. Is the marriage already registered in Thailand? I'd imagine that would be necessary.
  21. In which case try here;
  22. How on earth does somebody end up in Nontaburi with a bundle of GBP not knowing how/where to change it into THB? Kidnapping?
  23. I always thought they stamped non-RE on an entry referring to a Re-Entry permit. Is that not the case?
