  1. There is nothing more to kill as long as the institutions are given absolutely useless teaching material and teachers are being considered semi-divine. Middle class sends kids to private school with the usual little envelopes to enroll or to move onto the next grade, the richer fellows who can afford international schools chose this. I sent my kids to international schools in Bangkok at great expenses and personal sacrifies, my kids luckily follow suit with my grandkids. As long as education costs money, a country is doomed and parents also have to understand, that schools provide knowledge; education, social values etc. are the responsibility of the parents....
  2. See the Bangkok bus company to fill the coffers. .....hhhm, does not work as these transportation dinosaurs were belching dehydrated diesel for the last 3, 4 decades at least. Good luck with this attempt, guaranteed failure.
  3. Love it. He cant tell the difference between Equal sweetener and Aspirin and is Thailandˋs big wig in health issues; what an embarrassment. The Swiss ambassador, pussyfooting around Anutin together with the Swiss foreign minister 3 ½ months ago might have to do some face-saving damage control now. So much to the dirty farang; the Swiss in Thailand just got their ranking lowered too. Wondering which gifted mind started with the vaccine cocktails - the answer is pretty clear that this was possibly the worst álternative - blending vaccines like saucing up cheap wines ????
  4. What a farce, face saving joke by the government. One has to be out of his mind to travel to Thailand with all those instructions, non-working websites, tests, documents and bureaucratic dragging of everything. 6,000 Baht for the first night, cold crappy food in plastic containers for 400 Baht and treated like a highest-infection culprit on death row. The country is NOT open; you want to see open countries, then go to Europe, Senegal, Dominican Republic etc. Hotels, bars, restaurants full, making up for the losses over the last 18 months - except Thailand and their slavery programme Goweed Sipgaw! But it is their country and if the dirty farang decide to go elsewhere, then it is and remains the fault of the alien!
  5. Well, the pr1cks do not want to hear this but a much easier solutions what the rest of the world does. Vaccinated - allowed to land Unvaccinated - go elsewhere Would do away with all that typical Thai avalanche of bureaucracy which never works, see all those IT facilitating "helpers" like this Thailand Pass, Mor Phrom as well as all those funny little ideas of the immigration with TM 1 - 21,704 (plus the 90-days nightmare website). Hundreds of thousands have chosen to spend their money elsewhere on the planet and Thailand screwed itself oncemore again by wrongly assuming, that the dirty farang and alien can be commanded around as those Thai government officials please. Beaches, nice hotels, good food, safe environment, nightlife and girlies are available ....... not in Thailand but anywhere else. The one-night quarantine at THB 6'000/night in a hotel, treated like if you have Ebola, a cold Pat Kapraw at THB 400 ........ welcome to Thailand. The internet is already read OUTside Thailand, just in case someone was uncertain about that!
  6. Look up Dominican Republic, Mexico or Portugal ....... I can name 50+ people who moved over Thailand's "dirty farang programme" and - for sure - will never return. They all used +/- one million Baht a month for rents, out-of-house activities etc.
  7. Another idiot is having his 15 minutes of fame. No, do not focus on repeaters (as they might know the script); go for rich first comers as the taking is easier ....... Good luck with your ideas and yeah ....... keep on dreaming!
  8. Worst case (officially) is a fine of 400 Baht against a receipt ....... everything else is highway robbery for which this country and its leadership is world famous for ????
  9. Copycat - shame on you. Those days though they could book 15,000 Baht per ton; wondering at what inflated price they want to pull off the same stint again. Or are they getting ready for the next "coup de moneytaire?
  10. If you teach how to "avoid sexually harassing/absing of children at school" ..........
  11. Well, happy days are here again and the daylight robber can all come back again to continue to loot the national airline for whatever is available. USD 10 billion accrued losses are called " despite the company’s ongoing financial woes." by Prayuth - who quite obviously "forgot", that he insisted in privatizing the airline for bankruptcy reasons. What kind of vaccination has been administered against this coronaphobian-beaten airline, me queries?
  12. "3rd graders between 8 and 9 years old (are taught) about sexual harassment at school what it is and how to avoid these situations." If this is really true, then impose lifelong jail sentences without pardoning appeal in the future and publicly humiliate these "educators". Trust me, if anyone would touch a child in my custody, (s)he would definitely not survive it - irrespective of consequences I would face afterwards!
  13. Well, it certainly applies in this country - gross misuse of power behind the almighty coronaphobia
  14. Well, explain the story with chicken .......... Noticed, that chicken (breasts, thighs, drum sticks, wings - but not feet) are less than ⅓ of quite a range of vegetables. Iceberg, bell peppers or hydroponic salads clock upto 198 Baht/kg; trimming it will elevate the price over 200 Baht. Chicken is 55 - 65 Baht and cheaper pork meat is 120 - 140 Baht. Nobody wants to tell me, that the production of a kilogramme of chicken is cheaper than a kilogramme of hydroponic leafy stuff .........
  15. No lack of self-confidence here with "Thais cautiously welcome" Nothing further from the reality; the dirty farang decided to go elsewhere and most of the arrivals are returning for work or family reunion reasons. Holidays are cheaper, and much easier accessible than the land of the semi-divine Thais.
  16. Throw the entire bunch of wknaers out; any kindergarten is more professional! But yes, every country has the government it deserves. Unhappy about it = elect better next time! Cannot wait, kick the kiddies out of the pen, simple as that.
  17. Keep up the good work and continue to destroy your own country. The day is not far when people will trigger of a civil clash by beating the police, torching official buildings and putting their ill-gotten vehicles ablaze. To all those governmental pr1cks out there - be VERY VERY careful, the candle's wick is almost burnt completely ......... you are playing with fire and once that started, you will not be able to extinguish it this time anymore! Peoples businesses are dying rapidly, they lose their income, existence, move out of unpaid dwelling and have no place to go to. The history should not repeat itself here in Thailand just because some mentally challenged uniformed black boots want to have it their way.
  18. Could it be, that some officers wanted to be early enough for the Pattaya Music Festival? Asking for a friend .........
  19. Assuming that your blue book is the Motor Vehicle Registration, you do not need to worry. The passport number is irrelevant as it cannot last longer than ten years upon which you will get a new passport with a new number. File a set of copies of your present passport, each page duly signed with a blue (no kidding, black, red, green is refused) ball pen and you will be doing just fine!
  20. Be patient and understand, that those missing brains of the country were heading for Pattaya's Music Festival to ensure, that all those flu-regulations, swipes, ATKs, masks etc. are strictly adhered to.
  21. Well, Prayut was OK with everything as next year the tills will be filled with endless inflow from their Burmese brethren ....... wanna bet? Apart from all that, he does not speak a word of English while her language is New Zealandish and only faintly linked with the Queen's English - me thinks! Regretfully it is not possible to listen into such top secret (for whatever reasons) conversations - I am sure it must have been loaded with hilarious "aray na?" and "mai chow chai loei" ........
  22. The frustration over the complete incompetence of the Thai government is worldwide meanwhile. 65,000 need an approval (based on what do the foreign ministry staff decide if a traveller is healthy or not - looking into the Somtam mortar?) and 12,000 were OKed. I just wait for Prayuth and his cronies to face the music next year, when Khon Thai will have realized, that those 40 million tourists will simply not resurface within the next few years. The government's reply will be "we cannot do more than open the country" and Anutin, the health ministry sweetheart will top it up and ask "what more do these dirty farang want?".
