I used to use one on the house, pump into a pressure vessel with a pressure switch installed.

Yep that is the system I was gonna recommend next but its a bit more expensive and complicated.

  2. Pressure switch commonly found at any local isaan/thailand construction supply place. This one is adjustable. Cut in and Cut out. Only really need "Cut out" but you can adjust it so its set at like 30 psi on (on all the time basically in this setup) and 50 psi off (overpressure). They generally only adjust in 20 PSI increments. But they are sold everywhere and will work and cost nothing. Taps in right after the pump inline with the sprinklers.

  3. Pressure relief valve. This does NOT go inline between the pump and your sprinklers. It would go on a "T" piece and vent overpressure. This is just an example of a simple one I found, the are a lot of different styles, sizes, standards, etc... This one is the simplest. They make one with a pressure relief switch and built in gauge so you can relieve pressure at the pump for service.

There is only 1 in and 1 out, goes off to the side, NOT pump in water out. And gotta get one same size as ur pump. This one is 3/4"

    Guessing like this ?

    Yep, thats right.

Real quick, do you have any idea approximately what size the intake and outflow of the pump will be? I will try and find you an appropriate diagram & link.

You are also going to need a pressure switch to protect everything from accidental fault from the regulator. Its nothing really, just a safeguard incase there is overpressure more than what you want or way over and breaks pipe & sprinklers. Ill get you an image for that too.

Centrifugal pump, (a pump that uses an impeller to move water) is the correct name.

Or would the pump be a type of centrifugal pump with the pick-up in the lake?

  6. We call those "Junk pumps" at home. Good for dirty stuff.

    Easiest way?

Get a pump larger than you think you need and buy a bypass regulator. Run the discharge back to the lake. Set the bypass regulator at 40 psi, and let the regulator vent the overpressure above 40 psi. Can open 10, 20, 30 sprinklers and it won't have a negative effect, it will just vent less back to the lake.

You can keep the valves open, and just use the breaker switch to turn the pump on and off. Make sure there is a foot valve (check valve) on the pick up in the lake.

Since you have a lake it makes it so much easier. Bypass regulator is perfect.

How does that sound? Need more functionality?

    This is HP?

    Hitachi 750 inverter

This pump is something that you were looking at as a viable option? Or would the pump be a type of centrifugal pump with the pick-up in the lake? Something like this, as it would handle junk from your lake way better than the Hitachi unit and way cheaper.

I have quite a few easy solutions but just need to understand the pump.

My knickers never get in a twist as I keep saying I don't wear them but each to there own don't let me stop you. As for the fail to see all it was and is, is a poor attempt to shift the topic at hand ie drunk English man on the wrong side of the road kills two Thai's quite simple really .

Wait, was it said that the englishman was infact drunk AND on the wrong side of the road? Both are now confirmed?

He will most likely be kept at a county jail in protective custody, so he should be ok. He will also be medicated, which will be even better.

Negative. The whole reason he got this:

Is to put him in federal prison. Most of the time anything less than one year is county. Thats why they do 1 year plus 1 day.

Highly, very highly doubt he will be in "protective custody". More than likely just regular gen-pop federal prison with a chance to get out early and be deported.

heres a short you tube vid

The last words in that video are "Perfect match for geo-thermal cooling"

and another with a actual install and explaining the use of a much smaller aircon to remove the moisture

The floor temp in that vid was 24 celsius.

Even in the hottest days in thailand, I doubt our floors are getting anything higher than 24-25 celsius without underfloor cooling. Why do you think Thais are always laying about on the tile floors? Geo-thermal temps and the cement slab cap the earth and retain its geo thermal temps, witch are cooler than the ambient air outside.

But, TIT.  Conduit because rats and other critters like to eat through stuff.  On the bottom so it doesn't interfere with radiant heat reflection.

    Yep TIT.

Id still use conduit, but screwed around the perimeter, and run across the top to the service points. Easier & stuff.

  12. Water heaters use a lot of amperage and depending on where they pulled power from, its likely they just tapped into something with a small breaker.

That crackling noise is water passing across the heating coils inside the heater and heating the water. Sounds normal to me.

Did they use an existing power supply? Something like a water heater needs its own circuit.

Should not Homepro be the people replacing unit immediately since it has never worked?

Sounds like it works now, ur just worried about the crackling noise right?

Convention would put it underneath in conduit.

USA, romex, no conduit necessary. On top or under is fine. Walls or ceilings the same as long as its not an exposed or habitated space. But its got to be secured with staple clips & stuff.

I think for OP, it would be easier on top, especially if the insulation is installed already.

    Just another pov.

Between Surin-Buriram you can get a fair price from about 350K up to 550K per rai. Depending on how close you want to be to the cities the price will go up.
In almost all cases outside city you will have to add water, electricity and make a land fill of approx. 1 meter.

Yep, but after its all said and done, land-fill (gets REALLY expensive, huge consideration), paying for power to be brought in, water well, etc... Sometimes works out more expensive than buying an "expensive" piece closer to town.

And forget about having a good internet connection or strong electrical supply.

Just seems 20 cm straight up for 3 meters could get stress cracks from a accidental shoulder blow in that short of time.

Shoulder blow? No way. I clipped one the edge of a tractor blade at the base and that cracked it but stopped the tractor dead too. That was probably 24 hours after pour, and that was hand-mix in one of those black bucket things.

C-pac is fine, 240 is fine, but they like to make it too wet so its easy. Wont fall down.

End of the day, its your money and your house. Form it up, pour it, and get them to find something else productive to do for 1 day, then pull it all off the next. Or they can have a beer day. They probably won't like it, but its your stuff. Be polite but firm.

Its all entirely up to you.

I haven't got time for all your nonsense. But let's just stick to the first piece: more taxation is bad.  More than what? More than they are now?  Trump is proposing a massive tax cut. He claims that will boost the economy. Just like George Bush did in 2001.  And the state of Kansas did in 2012. How did that work out?  Clinton raised taxes in 1994 amidst predictions of economic doom from Republicans. How did that work out?  Taxes were raised on the wealthy in the USA in 2014.  Subsequently, the economy is doing better and better. Income inequality actually declined. The lowest paid workers rose the fastest.

In the 50's and 60's taxes on the wealthy were much higher than they are now.  I guess to your way of thinking, those were bad years for the economy.

Impasse then. Feel the same about your crazy-speak. Yeah lets just hike minimum wage to $15, apply more tax, tax business more, etc. all will be better.
