Kamphaeng Phet for me is the best place I have been in Thailand. People absolutely lovely, soft spoken (not shouting at each other like one was in BKK and the other in Pattaya when they are standing side by side together ). No Soi dogs that I could see, lovely parks with signs to pick up your dog's poo. Big wide main roads that are kept in beautiful condition along with wide footpaths. No motorbike taxis or tuk tuks that I could see. Food cooked lovely with big portions and not expensive. Didn't see any beer bars but then again I wasn't looking for them but the ladies I did come a cross had a lovely manner. I will more than lightly end up moving there myself.

where is that village in LOS which have no karaoke bar ??

One little-mentioned advantage of Pattaya/Jomtien, is that you don't need a 1-hour flight, to reach Swampy and your onward international-journey, I didn't appreciate the time/cost of this when we were originally choosing where to live in Thailand.

You should have no problem getting a 30 day visa exempt entry and then a 30 day extension of it. Perhaps have 20k baht handy to show on entry in case you are questioned.

That's awesome that people will help and he's going to need lots of it. I presume that the 6,000 pounds for an air ambulance was a mistake or was within Thailand? A private jet with two pilots, and set up with a stretcher and an RN and an EMT is going to cost more like 5K per hour. Depending on plane type, the fuel could be 1K+ per hour. If he's flown to the UK that way it will be a king's ransom as the plane has to go round trip. I'm going to try to find it and donate some.

They do it on a simple way !

they stopped all flights with less than 80% load !

so goal 1 is reached !

( if you can't reach well 80% - just give more free VIP tickets to politicans - high ranking officers, staff - and memebers )

reduce flights - less fuel expenses - less airport start landing taxes - saves a lot of money !!

sell airplanes -as of less flights you need also less airplanes - so you get a profit out !!

free staff - which not fly - you dont need to buy them expensive hotel stays on long hall flights,
